Family weekend getaway

Location was fabulous. Easy to get to and close to everything. Furniture was comfortable and we never felt stuffy. Fire pit didn’t work and if wanting to cook oven doesn’t have a lot of space but worked well for us just cooking breakfast

Quiet getaway for anniversary

We couldn't have been happier with this home for our anniversary getaway. It was clean, quiet, and perfect for our needs. Neighborhood is lovely to walk around and the ocean isn't too far. Also enjoyed the backyard area, deer, countless birds, bunnies, etc. We will most definitely be back!

Absolute perfection!

We have had the most wonderful stay! This home is just perfect! The moment we walked in we felt at home. The furnishings and decor are pristine and SO BEAUTIFUL! It looks like stepping into a magazine! We hardly wanted to leave during our stay and we were more than a little sad to have to go home. Love love love! If we could give this rental more than 5 stars we would. We can’t wait to come back!

Reviewer Comments: Great location with great view to fairway (Monterey Peninsula) inside Pebble Community. Very quiet place. House itself is nice and cosy, we liked it and slept like babies. But it’s a little bit sloppy, especially outside (terrace, garden, plants, cushions, grill, outside fireplace.... ). We would recommend an improvement by Sanctuary and definitely a parasol at terrace.

Cozy Stay in Pebble Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I spent four days at the Adobe by the Sea and would recommend this house for two couples or a small family. We had a great time walking through the neighborhood all the way down to Spanish Bay (only a 12 minute walk) and watching the golf from our patio. The home is cozy and well-equipped for short stays. The outdoor patio furniture could use a good cleaning but otherwise home was in good shape. We especially appreciated the bottle of wine and cheese left as a welcome for us! We traveled with our one year old son and the layout of the house was great for him to have his own room while we could enjoy dinner after he went to bed. Sanctuary was responsive throughout our stay and left lots of information behind for us.

Amazing vacation rental

We rented this house for a long weekend to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday and we were all impressed at how well-appointed the house was. Most vacation rentals provide the bare minimum in kitchen utensils, towels, disposables (TP, trash bags etc) but Sanctuary Rentals really goes above and beyond to make this house just like home. The kitchen is beyond fully stocked; you could prepare any kind of meal or even bake cakes in this place without bringing any equipment from home. The beds are comfy, and although the house is small, there is plenty of room for a family to sit and hang out in the living and dining rooms, and the outside area is huge. My dad is an avid golfer and really enjoyed the view out onto the fairway at MPCC. My only complaint is that although it is a dog-friendly property the yard isn’t fenced in. Not a huge deal but it would have been nice to not have to leash the pup for potty breaks. It’s a small detail and I would gladly rent this house again the next time I’m in Monterey.

Perfect location for a family getaway

I was a little skeptical booking this home due to the negative reviews on cleanliness but honestly we had no problem with that at all. The home was very clean and beautiful! Our family of 4 stayed here for 5 days and we loved the quiet neighborhood surrounded by the golf course. There was a gate to enter the neighborhood so we felt very safe. It was within 10-15 minute drive to everything we wanted to visit; the aquarium, Cannery Row, Fisherman's Wharf, downtown. The house itself is beautifully decorated with a beach theme. Beds and couch were comfortable. We loved the outdoor patio! Our only complaint was that the kitchen was a tad small. We ended up cooking most of our meals on our trip at the house. There was no extra storage space for food besides the refrigerator. We ended up just storing it in the box we brought it all in and some on the countertop-which worked. The stove was also tricky to figure out. You had to light the stove top and oven with a lighter which we were completely fine with once we figured it out. Overall we really loved this home and would definitely consider staying here again when in Monterey!

Excellent Stay

The house was as advertised. Location (within -7-mile drive) is beautiful and close to Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay and gorgeous shore. Right off golf course. Enjoy seeing deer every day. Quick drive to downtown Carmel.Stayed with my sisters so sharing a shower was not concern. Kitchen was well stocked.Hosts were easy to communicate with.I would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful location

Family Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful small family gathering for Thanksgiving. The setting was beautiful for morning coffee with a view of the golf course and walks all day long. It was easy access to the beach and to city central. The hosts/management could not be more accommodating. Wonderful!

The home is on the MPGC golf course and basically on the 17 mile drive. The area is magical. While you are able to walk to beautiful areas you will drive everywhere. The home is dog friendly and we loved that! The backyard is fine (it's the golf course) but having an enclosed area would be nice. The home is comfortable and we really liked it. There are just a few minor things that we feel need to be changed. The property company is great at working with you and we appreciated them. I'd definitely come back and would love to stay longer. You really need to spend some time in the area to 'figure' out all the different things you can do.

Cute house in great location

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. It was comfortable with great decor and the location was perfect. We enjoyed sitting outside on the back deck and watching the golfers. Our dog also loved to just lay and look out the window at the deer and other wildlife. We will definitely be back!!
