“We had a lovely stay at pinkprivate balangan. The rooms were immaculate and fully equipped. The pool was lovely especially with the big day beds at either end. The breakfast had limited options but the food was very tasty and fresh. They also had contacts for everything, we got massages, hired a scooter and got laundry done all for reasonable prices. The staff were super inviting, helpful and polite. The location was quiet but only a short walk to cafes, supermarkets and a short grab ride to……

“The room was spacious and comfortable. It was clean. The bed was nice. There was a large refrigerator and desk as well. What surprised me was the lack of power outlets/USB near the desk or bed - I had to disconnect the lamp to charge my electronics. The bathroom was nice, but it was not maintained well. It should be renovated: there were tons of limescale and the faucets were hard to operate. Moreover, the towels were terrible - the high synthetic content rendered them non-absorbent, so……

“I booked reservations for 19-20th. Our plane arrived at 11:59 Monday morning. I made several attempts to contact the resort through phone calls and texts no response to let them know our late arrival. Once we arrived the area was dark and sketchy to say the least. We attempted to get someone to come the door, no response and no way to contact resort. The pictures looked nothing like an ocean view from the outside that’s listed in the pictures. “This place was a DUMP! The room was filthy. Conditions were so poor that I checked in at 2:30pm and checked out before 7pm. The walls had what looked to be mold growing on them, there were stains on the sheets, thick soap scum on the shower glass and bathroom faucet was loose. I would not advise anyone to stay there.”
