Liked: Communication
The house was built for dwarfs. We all had to duck in multiple places in the house and especially in the bathroom. It was very awkward that the first floor was not a bedroom but the "living room" that felt damp with a single metal frame bed and a couch made into a single bed. Kitchen was semi stocked for cooking. The 3rd floor bedroom is where the bathroom was so the 1st floor couple had to walk up three flights of narrow steps in the middle of the night to use the shared bathroom in the master. A bit awkward for privacy. No one in the town said hi or smiled. Very cold and unwelcoming atmosphere

Perfect getaway

Lorenzo & Francesca met us at agreed time (free & ample parking space nearby was a big bonus) and explained everything we needed to know about the house and the neighbourhood. The house is located at a lovely village easily accessible from all regional attractions (San Gimignano, Volterra, Sienna, Pisa, Montepulciano), wineries, local restaurants etc. We felt like going back in time, without losing modern amenities (induction stove, refrigerator etc). The antique furnishings well complemented the originality of this beautiful house. We definitely enjoyed going up the hill and sitting in front of the old church while watching the beautiful Tuscany valley. The owners are very friendly (they both speak English) and are passionate about the history & beauty of the region. We were looking for a quiet yet central place to relax for a few days and explore the region; Lorenzo's house fit that requirement perfectly.

Authentisches Toskana-Haus in ruhiger Lage

Sehr nette, freundliche Gastgeber. Wenn möglich kommen wir wieder.
