Die Vermieter waren äußerst liebenswürdig und hilfsbereit, der Poolbereich fantastisch, auch für Kinder.12 Erwachsene, 6 Kinder uns 1 Baby waren restlos begeistert. Der gute Geist des Hauses Roberto hat unauffällig, aber höchst effektiv alles in Ordnung gehalten.2 Damen haben für uns 2 mal hervorragend gekocht.Fazit: Besser kann man einen Urlaub nicht vergringen」

「The owners gave us a lovely welcome and explained everything very clearly in English. The house is beautiful and spacious with a wonderful large and safe pool, with lots of loungers, although only one umbrella. We used the pizza oven with wood supplied for us and also the barbecue. 「A wonderful week in Franco's villa. Lovely location - we did the walk up to Montecarlo most days to sample some of the local restaurants and coffee shops - and an easy drive into Altopascio for food shopping. The villa was well laid out for a group of 13 of us ranging from 9 to 49 and pretty well equipped including pool inflatables and sun loungers for the lovely infinity pool. Franco was very helpful and hospitable. Only slight criticisms are that the aircon on the top floor is not really...

「The property was excellent for our family group of 4 adult couples. The bedrooms were all spacious with good facilities. The general villa had all the amenities required and had plenty of cooking facilities and utensils. The pool and the view were superb and we had great experiences using the bbq grill and wood fired pizza oven. It is well located for access to local towns and cities. Volterra and Lucca were our favourites but we had a must see morning in Pisa which was very busy as expected....

We loved the kitchens and dining areas and cozy bedrooms. We also love the town and the beautiful rolling hills surrounding the Villa. 「The villa was a beautiful home to send our our time in Tuscany, Italy. We enjoyed having our own bedrooms and baths. We had a special meal cooked by a local chef, Rachel. The kitchen worked well for the cooking, and for our breakfasts. The scenery was just breathtaking, and it is just as pictures in books looked like. We very much enjoyed our stay.」

「The property was absolutely charming. It really had that homey, Italian, Tuscan charm about it. The kids and my husband loved it too. I wish I had planned for more days there. We didn’t have time to partake in the cooking class or truffle hunting, but I guess that just leaves a reason to come back. The location was great too because it’s in the country away from the busy cities, but a close enough drive to all the various Tuscan sites.The owners were very nice and spoke good enough English....

「Das Haus war wie beschrieben, typisch toskanisch. Die Sonnenauf- und untergänge waren wunderbar. Die Landschaft war sehr schön, das Haus ist ruhig gelegen. Marillia war eine sehr angenehme Gastgeberin. Castellfirorentino eignet sich sehr gut zum erkunden der Toskana, da es zentral zu den bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten liegt. The house was exactly as advertised, very comfortable, with AC in every room (which was very useful during hot waves in the middle of August) and bathrooms for each room. 「A perfect villa for a large family. The air conditioning in the upstairs and first floor sleeping areas worked very well. There is no AC in the basement sleeping area or the common areas, but they remained relatively cool. The outdoor area has a great pool, patio, and olive grove/garden. The location is very secure and within easy driving of pretty much anywhere you may want to visit in Tuscany. Do yourself a favor and avoid booking through VRBO. They will charge you hundreds of dollars in fees...
