Great spot at SML

4 guys on adventure motorcycle trip and lake excursion. We had a great time. Access to dock on the lake and great air conditioning unit!

Wonderful weekend getaway

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Great dock for hanging out, fishing and swimming. The house was perfect as well, nice deck for enjoying a meal. Would definitely recommend.

Rainy days

Long walk down a hill to the dock, if forecast was better I would have brought a kayak. Dock is nice benefit in the right weather. Great blackstone grill, 2 of 4 burners worked well. Nice outside covered deck but with bugs, maybe glad

Could have been better.

Overall we had a good stay however there are some issues that need addressed by the owner.The grill was filthy so we did not use it.There were dirty dishes and the coffee pot had left over coffee so it had to be cleaned before we could use it.There were loose vent covers that are a safety issue,they slide if stepped on because they are not screwed in and are a fall hazard.The amenities state there is a hot tub but there is not.The owner's response when made aware was that it was the cleaning crew from the former renters.We understand that you have to sub out cleaning however there should be an inspection by the owner prior to new occupancy to insure the cleanliness.

Cozy house by the lake

This is a great, cozy house to enjoy all what Smith Mountain Lake has to offer! The house is comfortable, fully equipped, and has its own dock in case you rent a boat, jet ski, or just want to take a swim in the lake. Restaurant and convenience store are less than a 5-minute drive away.
