Chandler House | Amazing views, minutes to DuPont State Park and Downtown Brevard

Welcome to Chandler House, a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath custom home with stunnning mountain views!  This home is perfectly located, in Penrose, NC, to be a home base for families and groups in the area to bike in Dupont State Forest, hike in Pisgah National Forest, or explore downtown Brevard.  After the adventures of the day, return to Chandler House to cook out on the gas grill and enjoy the mountain views from the open decks.

As guests reach the top of the driveway, 3 parking spots are availale in the driveway.  A staircase leads from the driveway to the main entrance of the home on the front deck.The open concept living area has cozy seating, a stone fireplace with gas logs, television, and fantastic views of the mountains.  The dining table is complete with seating for 6.  The kitchen is complete with a standard coffee maker, Thermador gas stove with double ovens, and the home is stocked with all the dishes, pots, and pans needed for your meals.  The laundry room, with full sized washer and dryer, and half bathroom are also located on the main level.

The primary bedroom is located on the main level of the home and boasts a King-sized Sleep Number bed and large TV.  The ensuite bathroom is home to dual sinks and custom walk-in tile shower. The second bedroom is located upstairs and is home to a Queen-sized bed.  The open common space upstairs is complete with a trundle bed.  Including the trundle bed, Chandler House accommodates 6 guests comfortably.  The second full bathroom, with single sink and a shower/bathtub, is also located upstairs.

As guests travel from the main floor to the lower level of the home, they will be greeted by a cozy entertainment space with another large television and comfortable seating, a mountain mural, and a table perfect for puzzles and games.  A third full bathroom with walk-in shower is also located on the lower level.

The outdoor spaces at Chandler House are hard to beat!  Enjoy your morning coffee from a chair on the main level deck or go downstairs to the lower level deck and relax on the custom built swing.  Wherever you choose to pull up a seat, you can soak up the mountain views!

As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone.  Each home we manage is stocked with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable.  Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone on the reservation, with a link to the essential information needed to enjoy your stay, like the door code and directions.  The digital guidebook has information on the property and also on the area, including restaurants, grocery stores, and popular destinations.  Guests can go straight to the property they have reserved at check-in time.
