It was a nice condo, but could use acouple of touch ups like new screen doors. I have stayed here twice now and it was in a nice location.

Wonderful stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at The Islander. Our accommodations were just what we needed with beautiful Gulf of Mexico views. The white sand beach was amazing and Ian, our beach attendant, was outstanding! Condo in low-key area, but close to restaurants, grocery store and more. Looking forward to coming back!

Best vacation in 3 years!

Though circumstances were difficult…family burial…broken ankle…we truly enjoyed our stay! So much so that plans were being made before we even left! Family is important to us! It was just what we all needed!

It is hard to find three full bathrooms and a space to have two bunkbeds that aren't crammed into a tiny space. Each room is generous in size, with plenty of chairs for the dining area and the living room. The Islander is our favorite place to visit on Okaloosa Island with a large pool and quieter beach area.

The property is perfect for white sugar sand beach living with its gorgeous location on the Gulf. It is clean and we were so pleased with the upgrades made from last year. Thank you owners for the new couch - new dishwasher- new washing machine and many new pots and pans for cooking delightful Florida meals. Brooks and Shorey provide great service whenever we need anything. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a pleasant vacation experience.

Love our winter paradise get away in Ft. Walton Beach FL ⛱️

We have enjoyed the last two years at excellent headquartersin the Islander 5003 very much. The property is clean and well maintained. We commend the owner for providing fine new washer and dishwasher and living room couch for convenience and comfort this winter. Brooks and Shorey have been very attentive to our needs while here Jan. Feb. And Mar. We have recommended them to other snowbirds for their great service. We are fortunate for restaurants close by like Stewbys fish house on Santa Rosa and German Wursthaus on Miracle Strip Pky. We love how close we are to First Baptist Church ⛪️ here worshiping with wonderful friends weekly. We are very happy here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful family vacation in this 3 bedroom/3 bath condo. The view of the ocean was perfect and it has very nice decor. The one area that could use improvement is the kitchen. It could use a deep cleaning. The bottom oven drawer had crumbs and some of the cabinets need to be wiped down on the inside. Many items in the cabinets had to be washed before using because they were dirty, some possibly because they weren’t used in a long time but others looked as though the dishwasher wasn’t run and dirty dishes were unloaded into the cabinets. Lastly, the pots and pans could really use an upgrade. They looked old and were mismatched and the fry pans were warped and didn’t sit on the stove flat. Also, needs a new knife set, they were mismatched and not sharp. We had to buy knives to use while there. Overall, the unit was clean and comfortable and very nice, the kitchen just needs a little extra attention. I would definitely stay here again.
