Beautiful location

This house was extremely beautiful, great location, private beach, everything you could need was in the house. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The hosts were extremely easy to work with and friendly, and went above and beyond.

Quiet, private beach and awesome house. We'll be back!

Our family’s stay at Once Upon a Tide was incredible! A two min walk to the private (?) beach, this home had everything we needed—so much so, we barely left. The huge heated pool, home gym and sauna, and game room with video games kept the 4 adults and 7 kids entertained. Lots of outdoor seating areas were perfect for soaking in the views. Thoughtful touches like beach gear, a fully stocked kitchen, and an ev charger made our stay easy. If you’re looking for a luxury escape with lots of amenities, this is it.

Florida family fun

Enjoyed the roomy house. Everybody had their own space. As a family we used and enjoyed the pool. House was close to beech and restaurants.

Lovely Home!!

Lovely home, 100 yards from beach, quiet neighborhood and beach not crowded. Plenty of sleeping space, fully quipped kitchen with all the pots, pans, cookie sheets, plates and utensils for cooking. Pool area is beautiful and has a gas grill. Clean home.

Once Upon A Tide

Very nice beach house.. Has all the amenities that one could want, large kitchen, large bedrooms, lots of balconies to watch sunset and sunrise. It includes a fire pit and heated swimming pool. Is a short walk to the beach. Private access to remote area of beach. Only 7-8 other families with tents on the beach when we were there in August. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Great property

The house is super nice and we loved the pool, even though the water was a bit cold most days. Beach access is easy to get to. We used the playpen for my two year old to sleep in and the master closet was huge enough for the playpen with plenty extra room. We did have to buy a baby gate for the stairs after the youngest took a tumble down them, but that would be my only suggestion to make the place even better! We had a great time!

Best Beach!

My family really enjoyed the view from this house. Every morning we had our breakfast outside on the 2nd floor deck, which overlooks the state park with beautiful birds and bunnies to the back, the boats on the Bay (and private pool) to the right, and the Gulf to the left. We even saw a deer one morning. I could have sat there all day! The entrance to the State Park beach is two houses down, with a protected walkway which was easy for my elderly parents to navigate. Super convenient and felt like our own private beach. We really liked the outdoor shower when we returned from the beach, which allowed us to shower off before jumping in the pool. The house was great for both adults and kids and had many things to do (including foosball and video games), when there was an afternoon shower. It is close to some family- friendly restaurants and Publix in both Florida and Alabama. We plan on renting this house again!

Nice but not luxurious

Overall we really liked the house and would stay there again. The house was perfect for our family with lots of space and comfortable beds. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the finishes and furniture though. The property was listed as luxury and it was not luxury. Particle board dressers, a game room with broken arcade game, a broken bed that’s was just cheaply made, broken mirror and areas on the wall where the new paint was completely missed. There was something almost daily that I had to message the lwwrs about that we kept finding broken. The house was nice just not luxury and I believe overpriced for what we got.
