Perfect!
Beautiful property - as listed with an amazing view, heated pool, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor kitchen. The place is impeccably clean and everything in working order. Fantastic location, only a 5min drive from town and walking distance to lots of wineries and restaurants. When you stay here, you'll definitely want to leave a day free to hang around the house and take advantage of the property. We all loved staying here and hope to rebook for our next trip. Thank you George, you're an awesome host!

Very comfortable accommodation
The accommodation is very nicely finished and furnished and also very comfortable. Great views from the patio. The kitchen stove is not inside but rather outdoors under the deck. This was no problem for us because the weather was great. However if staying in the winter, one would need to head outside to use the oven.

We do not rent in the winter, but there is a kitchenette inside , The outdoor kitchen is not under the deck but under the second floor. The entire area is protected with a spectacular Lake View.

Beautiful property!
6 of us ladies biked from Myra canyon to Naramata to stay at this beautiful home. The hosts were amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub after our ride. Would absolutely recommend this property! Will definitely come back!

Our Experience - Not a Premier Host
We were booked for this property from Aug. 20-25, 2023. A few days before our stay a majority of locations in the area we victims of the wild fires. The Government issued a state of emergency for the area and issued an order against Tavel to the area listing Penticton. The Air Quality Index for Penticton ahead of our travel and our booked dates was Very Unhealthy and ranged from 216 to 295. We had inquired several times about a refund or credit, as we were aware of other VRBO hosts doing so for their guests. We were only offered a few dates in Sept or Oct. This was of no use to us given none of the adults could rearrange vacation, nor are we able to remove our kids from schools. Plus the purpose of our travel is for our girls to attend horse camp which does not take place in Sept/Oct. We have a wedding to attend in the area in May. I confirmed through the booking tool that the property was available for our dates. I asked the Host if he would give us three nights in May in equal exchange for our booked 5 days. He was unwilling. We lost our entire $3,600. The host had very little concern or empathy for our vacation being ruined and our money lost. Yes we were fully aware of the cancellation policy. It was not our intention to cancel. But the area was on fire, the Government ordered vacationers to stay away and the air quality was extremely unhealthy. I would expect a premium host to offer at least a little grace given this situation

In response to Jackies comments. We called VRBO , they told us it was an act of God, and most travelers had travel insurance. I have been using travel insurance for 30 years! Penticton there was no state of emergency, that was for West Kelowna and Kelowna. The air quality was bad over most of BC from fires in Oregon, Washington, BC and Alberta. I offered Jackie the option to change the days for anytime in Sept. or Oct. which one guest did, the other guests still came, as some days it was smokey, some days clear, depending on which way the wind was blowing. As a business we still have our costs to bear, including an 18% tax increase, we have not increased our charges, it is an exceptional place and a very reasonable rate. Very private and safe with amenities few places offer. For six guests the cost is about 1/3 what it would cost for three double rooms at the hotel down the road with a private pool, hot tub, gas fire pit, gardens and vineyards to roam in. It is stated very clearly strict cancellation policy. I am sorry Jackie did not or could not change their days, but this is why a person should always have travel insurance.

Wonderful property and host
Our family of five had a fantastic summer week at this beautiful property, which surpasses the photos and description. The living space is spacious and light filled, with generous glass doors and windows on two sides. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely, spacious, and comfortable. It's also very private, with guest hot tub just outside the door, an enormous wraparound patio, spacious lawn for family games, outdoor table and seating for eight, outdoor kitchen....all with a view of gardens, vineyards, and the lake. A walk up through a beautiful rock garden leads to the fire pit and then a few more steps to the beautiful pool and terrace also with a lake view - we felt like we had a five-star resort to ourselves. An easy bike to the rail trail; fantastic local breweries and wineries; very convenient to the town of Penticton with its great beaches (as well as the Skaha lake beach park). Hard to top this part of the Okanagan for pleasing the whole family. George was welcoming and gracious and generous--and we really appreciated the fresh vegetables from the garden. We've stayed at a lot of VRBOs in North America and this was one of the very best. We can definitely see ourselves returning. Thank you George and family!

Highly recommend
A beautiful place for our family to relax and enjoy the awesome view of the surrounding vineyards, orchards and Okanagan lake. Location is close to the Kettle Valley Railway Trail for walking or riding bikes. Our family enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. Our host George was friendly and quick to respond to our requests. Thanks for the hospitality. We definitely recommend the accommodations!

Girls Getaway
This property was a great base for a girls weekend getaway in Penticton. It was close to the airport, downtown and right in the heart of Naramata Bench surrounded by wineries. Despite the rainy weekend we still enjoyed the hot tub and pool on the property. We were all impressed by the cleanliness of the place and most of all the views. The host was friendly and quick with responding. Would definitely book this place again.

A gorgeous space and property
All the amenities you need to a getaway. On original booking we didn’t realize that it was a suite but the location, pool and views were unbelievable. George was extremely accommodating and is a very hands on host.

Stunning
What a gorgeous piece of paradise! I went with 3 of my friends, and we were able to completely relax and enjoy everything this spectacular property has to offer. The suite was beautiful, the pool was warm, big and loads of fun. The views are breathtaking, surrounded by vineyards with a beautiful view of the lake as well as the owner’s organic garden that he so graciously shared with us. It’s right in the heart of Naramata Bench, so wineries are all around. It has 2 bedrooms (not 3 as stated in the listing) with plenty of space in the common areas. I will definitely be back and have already recommended this property to many others. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Quiet Peaceful Stay
We enjoyed our stay in Penticton. The space was great; two king beds was perfect for my wife & I and two school aged kids. Great pool area. Extremely welcoming owner/host. The rental is a full walk out basement with the view of the vineyards; with the owners living upstairs. Sound does travel in the house, to note if you like to sleep in or have afternoon naps. This property suited us perfectly for a relaxed morning breakfast, a swim, then by car out to the beaches or wineries or golfing.

Happy Jared and his family enjoyed the place. It is not a basement suite. It is a 2000 sq. ft. ground floor which opens onto a large patio with a hot tub, lawn , flower gardens and vineyard with three private entrances.. It has one of the best views in the Okanagan and the view is featured in the the Penticton magazine. There is also a lovely gas fire pit and and a heated 50' swimming pool, all with amazing views.

Incredible home
Four adults and our newborn stayed here for 4 nights and had the best time. The pictures do not do this place justice - the views are stunning, the landscaping is gorgeous and the suite is very spacious. Would highly recommend.

Stunning and peaceful in Penticton paradise!
Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer! The hosts were very attentive to our needs and very quick with responding to our questions. The property was AMAZING! It was so much better in person, so don't rely on the pictures. The pool is huge (and heated!), the hottub was lovely, the firepit was great, and there is a huge patio overlooking the vineyards, Lake Okanagan and the surrounding mountains. The views were truly spectacular! This is a basement walk-out with two king sized rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and massive living room, all looking over the expansive property. We hope to book a longer stay when we come to this area again!

Great Relaxing Weekend with Amazing Views
This property has everything you need to have a nice relaxing weekend. We utilized the pool, the hot tub, the fire pit, and the lawn for a wonderful girls trip weekend. The location has an incredible view of the lake and vineyards plus we had our meals outside using the outdoor oven and table. There are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms and one pullout couch. Also the hosts were easy to contact and very responsive. I would definitely recommend this rental to others.

Wonderful stay, would highly recommend!
The property is beautiful! Great views of the lake and vineyards. We had the hot tub and heated pool all to ourselves. Exceeded expectations!
This amazing property is the walk out basement portion of an estate home that is well situated to give guests a breathtaking view of the lake, vineyards, and mountains. Guests have access to a large heated pool and a 4-6 person hot tub. There are 2 large bedrooms with their own bathrooms at opposite ends of the suite. This was perfect for our group as we were two couples. George was a kind and responsive host. My only recommendation would be to increase the quality and number of the photos of the inside of the suite in the listing to give a more detailed representation of both bedrooms and bathrooms.

Stunning property
This was our family’s second time staying on George’s estate and it was very bit as pleasurable and memorable as the first. George is an extremely attentive and available host and warmly welcomed our young family. Our two young daughters were encouraged to openly explore the property and all of its wonders including the vineyards, gardens and animals. The suite is very private, impeccably clean and was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. We look ever so forward to a return trip next year!

Everything was great. We used the outdoor kitchen and the pool was crystal clear and warm. It’s 2 bedrooms with very comfortable king beds. Having Brian and His wife was a real pleasure. Even with the smoke and fires they were out everyday visiting wineries and enjoying the area to the fullest. The first week or so was clear, the second week was smokey, but all in all they had a great time and were great guests to have Cheers and Thank you

Amazing Property
We had a phenomenal time at this gorgeous property. George, the owner, is absolutely lovely and you can really see the work that goes into maintaining this little paradise in the Okanagan. We didn't want to leave... ever... Usually we spend a bit more time touring around, but this time we really just wanted to stay on the property and pretend like we lived there. The kids had a blast in the pool and we all left well-rested and refreshed. Will definitely try to book again in the future. Thanks, George!

Beauty on the Bench
What a beautiful property to enjoy the sights sounds and tastes of the Naramata Bench wine country. George is fantastic host, and the property and unit are beautiful, and cool! (Temps were in the 40's C while we were there, but it was a perfect 20C indoors). The pool and lawn area's were a great bonus, and we loved the outdoor kitchen. All in all one of our favourite stays.

Spectacular: we will be back!
The vineyard-level accommodation is fantastic with lake views, is beautifully decorated, and meticulously clean. We swam in the sparkling pool every day and enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. George (the host) welcomed us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. We are planning to visit again next summer with our bikes, as the Kettle Valley trail is less than a km away.

Serene and scenic getaway
Beautiful, peaceful property on the edge of Naramata Bench overlooking nearby vineyards with Okanagan Lake in the distance. BBQ dinners while watching the sunset to stargazing and sipping wine by the fire bowl to refreshing dips in the heated pool....just a few of our highlights staying at this lovely place. The location is ideal for biking and winery touring as the KVR trails, mountain bike trails and wineries are all nearby. George the owner is a wonderful host and even provided some fresh vegetables from the garden. Note the photos do not show the outside patio area of the guest suite (which is in the ground level basement of the three level house). The stove is outside (along with a BBQ and outdoor sink) with the modern inside kitchen having an induction plate and microwave oven for cooking. The suite is very spacious and comfortable with french doors leading to the large outside area. Beautifully landscaped.

Amazing ground-level (view) suite that feels like a luxury house!
We stayed here with two couples, each with an infant, and the property was perfect! Two master bedrooms at opposite sides of the suite allowed us privacy with the most comfortable king-sized beds. The views from the patio and sprawling lawn are amazing, we ate outside every evening, and used the pool each day. The bonfire was a treat too after the kids went to bed. Everything was very clean, and our host George was accomodating and communicative, while allowing us our privacy. His son even delivered fresh-picked organic veggies from their garden to us one afternoon! The location is five star! - walking distance to wineries and the KVR trail. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place I'd definitely book again
It's an amazing place to stay with beautiful views of the lake, mountains and surrounding vineyards. Just as advertised. You can walk to near by vineyards for tastings and other trails to explore the area. George was very nice and accommodating. Overall I'd definitely recommend it and will try and book again for our next visit. It's a bit hard to find because the entrance is on a side street with a different name than the actual address. So make sure to get clear directions because the gps had no idea where it actually was. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Paradise in Penticton
An amazing chilled out estate with sweeping views of the wineries and lake. The host George was a wonderful & gracious host. We did not want to leave!

Incredible location on the bench!
We have stayed in Naramata and Penticton area many times but this was the most beautiful and clean place we have been. Kids LOVED the pool and the fire pit and the indoor area was much larger than we expected. George is a great host and we will be certainly be back!

Wonderful getaway
Our family had a wonderful time staying here! The pictures do not do the place justice! It was sparkling clean! Large and spacious interior with a private outdoor area plus the shared pool. The views are absolutely amazing and the entire property is really breath taking. Our kids spent endless hours playing in the heated pool and evenings at the fire pit. We can’t wait to book another vacation back here in the future! Thank you for everything George and family!

Wonderful stay
Enjoyed our few days very much. Beautiful view. Basement unit furnished very well and to a high standard. Lovely hosts. Enjoyed having the bike trails (easy ones) a few mins away by bike.

Lynne and Her family were lovely people. They enjoyed the time here and left the place in great shape. We would love to have them again. PS it is not a basement suite but designed as an entire floor apartment, 2000 sq ft. which opens onto the gardens

Perhaps the best spot on the Naramata.
This unique, top-drawer property is worth ever Canadian looney. Spectacular views from the pool, porch, and fire pit will rock your soul. The vineyards, orchards and tasting menus might have you looking for a real estate agent. Come often. Fill your heart and ditch the news. George will take good care of you and likely offer you an organic grape if you wish.
