For the price, the accommodation was fine considering it was high season in a resort town. Service was adequate but the room kitchen supplies were barely adequate. Was served by a young boy when we checked in and I find it is inadequate when family owned motels rely on kids to handle customer check-in. Don't blame the kids....they are kids and don't know as much as adults....having said that the family was also helpful and responsive to our requests for supplies and having TV set up.

The name of the motel says it all. Very basic and outdated. Using less dark colours would help to lighten up the room but still does the job for a stay in the Okanagan Valley.

This hotel was a terrible disappointment. the room was terrible. Small, dark, the wall was practically against the head board and the foot board. Counter tops were broken through and had exposed wood. I walked in and asked for a refund right away and the front desk lady was not only hard to understand but very difficult to deal with. Would not recommend to anyone. I could not leave there soon enough. I am not a picky person for hotels but this was ridiculous.Ended up stayin one of two nights because they would not refund me and had to pay them $45 to get refund for the second night. almost $200 for one night that was far from a holiday experience.

Room was not cleaned well. There was food from the previous guests left on the counter. The drain could not keep up with the shower so the tub filled while showering. Ceilings had water damage that hadn't been repaired.

There’s a pool not open. TV screen was damaged in room. An extra charge if you leave dishes in sink or if you have a late check out. Up to $25/hr.

DON'T stay at this place
BED BUGS... We did jot stay in this hotel and left. Very dirty. Owner did not even care when we brough to his attention about the bed bugs. We ask3d for refund but he said get it from Expedia.

I checked in last night after driving 9 hours, I was being charged for an additional night which I had not agreed on. I only needed this place for one night. I got a tiny odd shaped room with a big queen size bed. I felt claustrophobic, I did mentioned it to the front desk to which they responded, this is what you chose next time read a description. I also was told the place is the cheapest in the area. At the end what choice did I have I was not given another similar option. However, I was given a kitchenette option for $45 more. Needless to say, I do not recommend this place and will not be returning.

Even though it’s not a very fancy hotel, the room was in good condition. It had what I needed and was a good size. I like how there was a full fridge. The girl at reception was very friendly.

This is an older tired motel - the room had a number of wires running al over to wall hanging equipment - it condition of the room looked shoddy. There were several light bulbs burned out - quality control was lacking.

Booked this hotel which was rated a 7 on Hotels.com. I was on the road and didn't have time to read reviews, etc. When I got to the hotel, it was a run down place and not anything close to what I would rate a 7. We got there at 8PM, and they were still cleaning rooms. I was taken to 2 rooms which were still in the process of being cleaned. The 3rd room I was shown which had supposedly been cleaned, was very outdated and not very clean. I left the property and did not stay there. The owner would not agree to refund my money through Hotels.com even though I had booked an hour prior to arriving. I would absolutely not recommend this property to anyone.

Small home town motel. Clean and friendly staff. Had a slight problem with registration but it was handled be Expedia and local staff. Thank you. Sleeping area could use air conditioning.

We checked and found there was no chair, no table, no luggage stand in the room. My husband found a large black bug by the heat register and we checked the room thoroughly for any more. None were found, but noted there was no vacuuming done under the bed. On a positive note, the bed was a king size, very comfortable. The bathroom was dated but clean. The room could use a decorating update sometime. But the price was economical for a one night stay.

You get what you pay for. The motel is pretty old but it seems like a family run place where they care about customers. Here's my advice **the rooms are not all equal! Some are older, have a weird stench, and very uncomfortable beds. Other rooms may be partially renovated and like a completely different hotel, so just ask to go see a few different rooms.**

Had to get new key card, twice, as they stopped working. Building is old, in need of major renovations. Bathtub was old and peeling, left chips of "paint" on skin after showering. Room was small and in need of new paint, debris and garbage in parking lot.

They canceled our room after I called and asked if there is s money refund because my daughter had an emergency with her dog. When I went to book in they had canceled our room, us sitting with two tired children. I was appalled at the conditions of the Plaza they were do repairs, furniture in the parking lot. The pool was not available though the website and their sign say it is. When I stated I only asked a question and she did not even get my name, only that it was an expedia reservstion. She told me I had to cancel through expedia but that did not happen as I was on phone when my daughter called and said everything was fine. Expedia ciuld not get through so I kept my reservation. Well then she started calling me a luar and an escalation ocurred with her raising her voice. I am glad we found beautiful accomodations at the travel lodge on the beach. I would not recommend the Plaza nor have it on your site because they seem shady and seemed they canceled for more money.

What I didn't like was that after booking the motel for our daughter with Expedia and giving our credit card we showed up at the motel and were told they do not accept a second-party card. Our daughter does not have a credit card and needed somewhere to stay so I booked it on my card. The woman on reception absolutely refused to recognize our booking, so after travelling for about nine hours to get there we had to start looking around to find somewhere she could stay

Not so great.
Well the story is like this, the room was small but it is a budget motel so we did not mind. The beds were spring bed so if one person moves a little the other person wakes up by the shake or the bounce. The microwave was not working at first but after adjusting the plug a bit it started working, but again it was a loose connection so it happened couple of times. The washroom door lock was not working so every time someone opens the main entrance door of the room the washroom door opens wide due to pressure of the air in the room. Since the lock was broken we had to make sure no one enters without knocking the door. The toilet seats are small for a person who is bit bigger than average. We thought we will call them to let them know the problem but it was late and we were tired from driving all day long so we did not call since we knew we will be leaving the next morning.

OK for the price. Nothing special. Only problem was that the card entry mechanism for the door gave trouble. Original cad wouldn’t open it, a replacement wouldn’t either. Manager opened it easily with yet another card. Took two trips to the office, and waiting for service, at 0800, after we’d returned from breakfast. We were delayed in getting in to pack and leave, when we were rushing to start an all-day trip.

Low price, low budget. No sleep.
The lady at the counter was really nice. The room was old, and a little musty. Needs to be painted. The bed was alright. The walls were paper thin and you could hear people talking next door very clearly... all night. And they were talking quietly. No point in paying for a hotel room if you don't get any sleep.
