The Stanley is in an excellent position on the main promenade and very close to the quayside and town centre. Our room was quite spacious, bright and airy and with a lovely Seaview. There is a comfortable lounge and a lovely garden with table and seating. There is good car park if you are driving. Our only disappointment was the guest house does not provide breakfast. However, there is a very good option at the Harbourside Cafe which is only a few minutes walk and opens at 07.30hrs

Lovely place, very clean & the hosts are lovely. The room was a great size with a sea view. I was travelling with my dog & by train & it’s not far from the train station. Lidl’s is about 8 mins walk up the road. I would definitely stay here again if in the area again.

We have stayed at the Stanley numerius timed. The owner is lovely and nothing too much trouble for her especially if you are staying over to catch an early boat or returning late from one. The rooms are pretty, comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Will be booking for next year.
