Breakfast consists of Little Debbie donuts, cupcakes, bananas, oranges. Very limited. Self check in. No staff . It is an historic building. We love staying here despite the breakfast shortcomings. Location excellent. Many shops within walking distance , a brewery , coffee shop on main floor of building and bar in French basement.

The hotel is a delightful old building, with high ceilings and lovely woodwork. And while old, it is clearly well-maintained. The bed was quite comfortable, with sufficient pillows and the bonus of an extra blanket. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

The room itself was ok although it was 52 degrees in there when we checked in the day before Thanksgiving. So it was a bit chilly getting dressed for a wedding reception that evening. And I would definitely not recommend staying on a weekend or a night before a non-workday. We could hear music and loud conversations from the bar downstairs until about 1am. Also don’t stay in room 7 unless you don’t care that the lights from the hallway shine into your room all night. And the bed is truly the definition of “firm”. Didn’t eat breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

Check in was a major disappointment. Did not have the key available on the desk; took 15 minutes before someone arrived after making a call. The room was great. Did not have breakfast.

I stayed for two nights and never saw any staff. My key was left at the front desk but did not get a basic overview of the building. Safety was questionable as all the doors were open late for anyone to enter guest room area. The room was great and very comfy but the road noise was very loud. You will need to use white noise to sleep. Bathrooms are very nice as well.

It was just okay. The room was nice - but it doesn't seem to be ADA compliant. When you get off the elevator - you still have to walk up 8 stairs. The location is great - the room is like a cool old haunted 19th century building. It was just an off putting experience. It was okay

This is our second visit to the Cornerstone Inn and we’ll come back again if we’re in the area. It’s a quaint, clean, well appointed hometown hotel. There are only 7 rooms, we’ve stayed in #3 both times. They offer a basic continental breakfast, nothing special. There is a coffee shop next door at street level. There is also an underground bar that’s cool in the basement (the W Down Under) with limited food offferings. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Lots of unique shops in the area. The hotel is old but VERY clean, high ceilings, big windows, ann old brick building. Cool.

Wonderful place in perfect downtown location. The only thing I would change is that the rooms have a very small tv- especially since the rooms are so large.

Cold bathroom

The room was extremely clean, spacious, and well supplied. All 3 times that we have stayed there the bathroom is freezing in the summertime and there is no way to control it. I know it is hot and humid, but save yourself some money and set it warmer than 67. It has a lot of stairs. There is a small, old elevator, but you still need to climb 6 steps. The street noise and trains can be loud at times.

A quaint little boutique hotel just a shirt drive from Peoria! We stayed in a room that had a great view of the city square and fountain. The room itself was beautifully renovated (we were in room 3). Tje best part? The continental breakfast snacks were available any time!
