The Lazy River Lodge - Float, Fish & Relax on the Chippewa

"If your looking for an amazing place away from civilization where you can relax with your family and furbabies. This is the place to go. The cabin is stunning and has lots of options. You can fish the river from the property or take the kayaks/canoe on the river. You can light a fire make some smores and have family game night with either the outside games or even inside games or you can sit on the deck and enjoy the sound of nature and the view. Our dogs were able to come and the one thing we enjoyed was even though the yard isnt "fenced" its secluded by tree and bush lines on each side of the cabin, so even though there was another dog our dogs could hear they couldn't see them, so they were able to relax and enjoy the non-stimulating environment. If your the outdoorsy type there is a lot of public walking, atv trails and beautiful falls you can enjoy. Other fun things to within an hour that we enjoyed was the Scheers lumberjack show, Great northern train ride and the shops in downtown Hayward. If you do the train ride highly recommend stopping at Strongmans brewery if you like BBQ food. If you shop downtown Hayward Anglers Bar and grill is good and before you leave check out lakewood Cafe that is in downtown winter. I was hesitant traveling almost 4 hours to the middle of nowhere with the kids and dogs worried there wouldn't be much to do, but our vacation here didnt disappoint. The kids asked if we could come back yearly they enjoyed it that much!!"

Family Friendly Cottage w/Spectacular Views of Round Lake-Hayward, WI

"Gorgeous view if Round Lake. Quiet and lots of solitude. Clean. Well stocked. Sunporch was well used by us, Comfy and airy. Has all the extras, in case you forget. Lots of linens & towels. Lots of steps down to beautiful clear lake. Younger legs would have fun with water toys/ gear provided. Us grandma's,sat on the deck and admired the view. Easy ramp in, plenty of parking. Nice to have a dining table/ area where we could all sit for meals."

"We enjoyed our family weekend at the Hygge cabin. The kitchen is well stocked for large group cooking. The kids (and adults) enjoyed the expansive yard, ping pong table, and pickleball! The location is central to lakes, restaurants, and downtown Hayward. Jacob quickly responded when we had questions. Would book here again!"
Breezy Bay Beach On Round Lake

"Beautiful home!!! Perfect location on Big Round Lake. Close to the marina. Communication with the host was excellent. Returned emails within a few hours. The cabin was great for a party of 6. Could accommodate up to 8 comfortably. Sandy beach, and the decoration were spot on. Little touches made the difference - coffee set up for Day 1. Barbeque was clean. Chairs for around the campfire. Perfect for our family. They are building next store, which only happened one day during our stay and we happened to be in town most of that day, so it did not bother us. Would definitely stay there again. Loved our stay with Ty."

Beautiful Craftsman Style Lake Home

"We have stayed here multiple times in July for our family vacation. It is a very large space, flat yard and awesome lakefront/dock. It is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need. This year there was even AC installed which was very nice. The WiFi is very slow and cell service is spotty which we actually appreciate as it makes it easier to unplug but it is noteworthy if you were trying to get work done or stream something."

"The cabin was clean and well stocked (there were even coffee filters). We did not do much cooking but there were plenty of pots and pans, dishes and silverware if we had needed them. I made suggestion that grab bars be installed on either side of the tub on the wooden trim pieces. We are seniors and found the tub quite slippery.The view was beautiful. We saw an eagle fly around close to shore and heard the loons calling to their chicks and friends to alert them to the eagle. The cabin is very private with trees all around. The porch/dining room was lovely and we sat on it every night until it got dark outside."
