“This B&B can only be reached by car. The room is clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful. They do not provide dinner but they will introduce the restaurants nearby. They own a vineyard. Guests are free to visit. They have a wine tasting session at 7 pm. The staff there explained their wine production in details. The wines are good. We have bought a few bottles from them. The breakfast was great. Surely will visit there again if we go to Bordeaux.”

Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. “Fantastisk flott sted med herlig område, vennlige ansatte og stor flid i at alt skal være bra. Noe gangavstand fra Libourne, men har du bil er det ikke noe problem. De ordner herlig frokost med blant annet lokalt syltetøy og honning. Kjempefin tur på området og smaking av lokale viner.”

“Our stay was unforgettable. Olivier and Nathalie are wonderful hosts of a very beautiful hotel with tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. The dinners (table d'hôtes) were phenomenal with excellent wine pairings from the region. We also very much appreciated the recommendations on things to do in the vicinity and which scenic roads to take. We felt like we stayed with family. Our hosts were welcoming and between us we managed some good conversations with our shared knowledge of French & English. The pool was very welcomed after a hot day and the glass of rose wine enjoyed after our swim was delightful. “What a fabulous hotel! We loved the Pavillon - with all its charm and character. The hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated, in a lovely countryside setting with a beautiful view of the valley and vineyards. The breakfast was fantastic - with quiches and fresh breads, croissants, baked apples, fresh juices, jams, yogurts and eggs prepared fresh to your order.
