“This is a very relaxing site on Lake Sturgeon. The large main room has a great view of the lake, which is just a few steps away. The house is stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies, plus many games and movies if you're stuck inside. The host, Stephen, is a warm and friendly man who will make things right if you should have any problems. ”

“We had an amazing time at this beautiful property. We enjoyed all the amenities. We particularly loved the indoor hot tub, private dock, the firepit, the large kitchen, and the pool, which was a big hit with the kids. The surroundings were serene and quiet, but there wasn't too much privacy as the property was very close to the neighbours. “We had a wonderful time at Dorado Cottage. The place is spotless, very well appointed, and had excellent air conditioning. The pictures of the place DO NOT deceive. It was very hot and we loved being able to come into the air conditioned cottage when we couldn't bear the heat. There were four of us senior women, and we appreciated the owners quick response to any concerns. Note to other seniors, there are stairs but they are manageable. “Absolutely loved our stay at the Boathouse. The host (Sarah) and staff (Lauchie) were extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. The view from the main living space was incredible - having dinner on the balcony, overlooking Cameron Lake while the sun was setting was absolute perfection. The water was a bit choppy the first couple of days, but it didn’t take away from the fun of getting in for a swim or kayak. I’ve never seen such an incredible sandbar! “Property was easy to find. The location was not what i was expecting. The house is cute. Kitchen had basic utilities which suited our needs. No extractor fans in the kitchen or bathroom. We set the smoke detector off when we were cooking. You are not able to control the temperature in the house as there was no thermostat. I am assuming it was in the house next door. “ The unkept and neglected exterior led to a grubby interior. One of the plastic deck chairs was broken and unusable. Floors were dirty and left our socks grey; there was pink mould in the tub & shower stalls, black mould on the water level of one toilet and no one had cleaned the ceiling ventilation fans or behind the toilets in either bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the bed linens were good. There was just one hand towel. Also, insufficient furniture in the bedrooms - night……

“We were in town for a wedding and found this house for multigenerational family. It was the perfect house for all ages, kids loved the pool, playground and hot tub was also enjoyed. House was clean, beds were comfy and hosts were great with responding to any questions immediately. ”

“This was a perfect cottage holiday for a young water loving family. The kids loved the sandy beach and shallow sandy bottom of the lake. We enjoyed canoeing, paddle boarding and lots of fishing and swimming. The cottage was comfortable and well supplied with kids activities. Peter responded quickly when contacted. We all had a great time”
