"The Annex was lovely and clean with everything that was needed in the kitchen. We were close to shops and the beach, with the option to travel in to near by towns which weren’t too far away. Great location for our dog too as she had the freedom of the garden. Lovely place to stay and would stay here again 😊"

"We had a delightful stay in the Garden Room. So peaceful and spacious. The bi-folding doors to the garden were a perfect touch - along with the comfortable bed and great coffee machine. Highly recommend!"

"The stables was in an ideal location for exploring East Sussex and Kent with lots of nearby attractions. The White Hart inn next door is a family owned village pub with lots of character, good beer and food. The accommodation was ideal for a couple. The open kitchen /longe was very well equipped with the added bonus of French windows onto a small patio area with outside seating.
Very difficult to find any faults as is highly recommended we would certainly stay here again."

"Clean and warm cottage in the center of town, very quirky but a nice environment, it is on one of the few roads running through Rye so does suffer from some traffic noise although not too intrusive. Everything was in order on our arrival so all in all a nice place to stay. "

"Our only negative is the location of the property on a major road... difficult to get out with the traffic. Otherwise this house is a gem and the reviews do it justice - spacious, well appointed, everything you need, great for visiting surrounding areas. Shame we came in winter and couldn't also enjoy the fabulous garden too!"

"The team at the Grand were exceptional, professional, caring and considerate. The room I booked was exquisite. I have been fortunate enough to travel and enjoy many five star hotels across the globe. The Grand is by far the most gorgeous and beautiful hotel with a team of staff that are second to none. Thank you From the bottom of my heart.

"My wife and I stayed at this hotel 12 months ago and had a fantastic time, fast forward 12 months I booked the same type room as I was taking my son down, what a terrible experience!!!!!. When we arrived I noticed the shutters were down on the bar, we checked in and went upto our room, the room was clean and tidy. On our way out I asked about booking breakfast and was told the resturant and bar were closed because the hotel had been taken over a month ago, I asked about the parking permits to park outside and was told that the new owners needed to contact the local council, so had to pay full price for on street parking. When we came back we noticed it was warm in the hotel , we got up to our room and found the radiators were on, I went down to reception and asked them to turn the heating off 2 hours later it was back on again. The following morning we used the shower which drained away so slow there was about 3 inch's of water in the tray and all this muck was coming into the tray, I told the staff on our way out and was told they would look at, when we got back late afternoon and checked it was still the same condition as we had left it, once again that evening after we came back the heating was on once again. We checked out the following morning the guy on reception was on his mobile phone and didn't even speak as I gave him the key. WON'T BE STAYING THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"What a brilliant couple of days at Hotel du Vin Brighton, the the reception staff are so friendly and helpful, we upgraded our room -it was ready early so checked in at 12, room was fabulous had a little patio area which was great as the weather was lovely, free standing bath and walk-in shower could have wished for anything better.
We had breakfast both morning so much choice the cooked breakfast was brilliant,
Lovely addition is the roof top bar area and courtyard which was great with the lovely sunshine, all the staff were so friendly,
Would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Brighton great location for the lanes"
"Sadly disappointing stay compared to my last stay. The room was small, the floorboards were so creaky and loud. I couldn't even walk from one side of the room to the other without the loudest creaking. I was woken by a couple arguing, shouting and banging on my first morning and the second morning, I was woken by the shower spotlight fitting loudly dripping water constantly whilst the occupants above were showering. The bed was also far too hard my hips were hurting. Staff are lovely but I won't be staying again."
