About our stay.

The area was beautiful and the villa was a good size for my family. We found the villa a little tired and it would benefit from a little updating. The pool area could be even better if it were refurbished. Overall we had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to return as we loved the area.

Beautiful House and surrounding and a very gentle landlord - we will come back

This was an unforgettable week, the house and terrace is absolutely fantastic, perfectly equipped with everything you need and located in a very nice and calm surrounding with lots of trees. Day trips to aix-en-Provence and Marseille and les calenques are easily possible from here. And Emmanuel was a perfect host for us with lots of ideas what to do and quickly responding when we had questions. We will certainly come back some time.

Quiet and dog-friendly

Emmanuel's place was lovely. Great kitchen with all the necessities, comfortable beds throughout and a quiet neighborhood. It's also super dog-friendly. A few things to note: While this is a lovely, quiet neighborhood, it's not walking-distance to any village. Les Michels only has 1 restaurant (delicious). For those without a car, there's a very useful bus on demand service for the region that picks up 2 blocks away (site le pilote dot com/fr - bus à la demande). The pool is gorgeous but we were there in May and with temperatures in the low 70s, it didn't heat up enough. If you are there with kids, they might not be able to jump in. Finally, wifi is a bit spotty. Other than that, it's a very pleasant villa and Emmanuel is a responsive and attentive host.

Very nice quiet modern property with lovely garden

We stayed in the property for 6 nights and had a lovely time. The property is spacious and has a modern open feel to it. The quality and design of the furniture was excellent and made us feel very much at home. The spacious front garden allowed our boy to play and kick balls while the nice back garden with the pool gave lots of privacy. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Très belle maison, très bien équipée aussi bien niveau cuisine, que pour le linge de maison. Située dans un quartier très calme, elle correspond exactement à l’annonce! Très bonne communication avec l’hôte qui nous a d’ailleurs accueilli en personne pour nous remettre les clés et nous expliquer tout le fonctionnement de la maison. Tellement rare, nous le remercions pour cela ! Petite alerte si vous séjournez avec de jeunes enfants, les escaliers vers l’étage où se situe 2 chambres, n’est pas sécurisé, nous avons donc privilégié les adultes à l’étage. Aussi il y’a des escaliers à l’extérieur pour se rendre à la piscine. Les moustiques, seul élément indésirable du séjour, étaient très présents, alors soyez prévoyants. A noter qu’il n’est pas possible de se déplacer à pied pour se rendre aux commerces. Il y’a un restaurant à quelques minutes à pied mais nous n’avons pas pu le tester car période de congés.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und gut erholt während unseres 14 tägigen Aufenthaltes. Am Anreisetag standen wir im Stau - doch Emmanuel hat auf uns gewartet, bis wir spät abends endlich ankamen.Die Küche ist sehr gut bestückt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind alle sehr großzügig und mit eigenen Bädern.Der Garten ist für Hunde ein Traum - allerdings ist er zu Straße hin nicht komplett eingezäunt.Die Domaine les Michel ist eine Siedlung mit Ferienhäusern auf großen Grundstücken. Schön ruhig, wenig Verkehr und auch für größere Gassi-Runden sehr geeignet.Der angrenzende Tennisplatz ist in sehr gutem Zustand. Tennisschläger und Boule-Kugeln sind im Haus vorhanden.Der Pool ist in den Hang hinter dem Ferienhaus gebaut. Absolute Privatsphäre, allerdings ist der Weg nach oben etwas abenteuerlich, da die Stufen in den Hang gebaut sind und unterschiedliche Höhen haben.Das ganze Grundstück hat ausreichend Schatten aufgrund des alten Baumbestandes. Im Sommer ist der Rasen vor dem Haus nicht so grün, wie auf dem Bild - aber das ist ja wie zuhause auch, wenn es nicht ausreichend regnet.Die Kommunikation mit Emmanuel war immer schnell und unkompliziert und erfolgte per WhatsApp.Von Les Michel kann man schöne AutoTouren durch die Provence planen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!

Super Sommerhaus für Familien

Das Haus war sauper und es war gut ausgestattet ..Man hatte wirklich ALLES DA was man auchbnur ansatzweise brauchen konnte. Zwei Klimaanlagen in der Küche und im Wohnzimmer, Die Schlafzimmer unten haben zwei ausreichend große Doppelbetten. Das größere von beiden Schlafzimmern hat ein recht "unprivates" Badezimmer aber das ist auszuhalten. Im oberen Bereich befinden sich zwei weitere Schlafzimmer die durchaus ausreichend Platz bieten. Das Kinderzimmer (zwei getrennte Betten) verfugt über kein eigenes Bad. Das Schlafzimmer (oben) hat einen Zugang zum WX/Badewanne. Der Pool im.hinteren Bereich des Hauses ist sehr neu, jedoch aufgrund der Beschaffenheit mit leichten Verletzungen zu rechnen , wunde Füße durchs Toben . Sonst haben wir den Aufenthalt dort absolut genossen. Im Nahbereich ist alles gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen . Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Bonjour. La propriété correspond à la description L'accueil a été très agréable. En pleine nature :oiseaux écureuils s'éclatent au petit matin. Hélas, nous n'avons pas profité de la piscine (temps pluvieux). S'il avait beau et surtout chaud nous aurions apprécié davantage cette belle propriété. Pour plusieurs personnes ,je pense qu'il manque des rangements. Sinon ,il y a 2 bons restau dans le coin. Les commerces ne sont pas loin en voiture.

Comfortable house. Access to two tenniscourts 5 minutes walk. Kind owner who is very reactive and helpful on questions and suggestions. Many trees providing comfortable shadow on warm days. Nice restaurant 10 minutes walk. Good bakery, butcher and greengrocer 10 minutes drive.

Très bonne semaine de vacances entre amis. Très bon accueil par le propriétaire. Très à l’écoute Propriété très calme. Au milieu de la Nature... avec tous ses avantages et ses inconvénients (les petites bébêtes...) Grande maison nous permettant d’avoir nos espaces privés à deux couples d’amis avec des enfants. Les chambres sont très bien agencées ainsi que les salles d’eau. Le jardin permet d’avoir de l’espace. La terrasse est super pour les repas. La piscine est géniale. Perdue dans la Nature. Un peu difficile à entretenir... Seul bémol de la maison : le ménage pourrait être mieux fait...

Super séjour! Tout était parfait! La maison est super agréable, avec un coin piscine paradisiaque et de la fraîcheur la nuit même lors de semaines très chaudes. Endroit agréable pour un bon séjour en famille avec accès facile aux terrains de tennis ,possibilité de visites en Provence,à Aix-en-Provence et accès rapide aux plages de Cassis ,de La Ciotat,aux Calanques. Paradisiaque, tout simplement !

Habitués depuis longtemps des locations estivales, nous avons passé cet été deux semaines (hé oui, pas moins :-) dans cette superbe maison de Peynier, nichée au cœur du Domaine des Michels. Un séjour pleinement réussi, en famille et avec quelques amis. Nous avons apprécié à notre arrivée le chouette accueil réservé par le propriétaire – super attentionné et à notre écoute pendant le séjour. La villa est contemporaine, décorée avec goût, et offre tout le confort nécessaire pour des vacances de rêve : chambres spacieuses ; vaste salon ; cuisine moderne ; grande terrasse ouverte (géniale !) pour les repas du matin, du midi et du soir et les longues veillées discussion/ou jeux de société, un bon verre de rosé en main ; jardin ombragé permettant de s’adonner au badminton, à la pétanque, à la lecture, à la sieste ; belle piscine moderne sur les hauteurs de la maison, avec vue imprenable sur la forêt (de quoi nous donner la jolie sensation d’être seuls au monde !) ; deux terrains de tennis à 3 mn à pied et que nous avons fréquentés assidûment quasi chaque soir ; une immense forêt juste en face de la maison où nous avons couru chaque matin à la « fraîche ». Bref, un séjour idyllique ! Rien ne nous a manqué, pas même ce soleil que nous étions venu chercher dans le Sud. L’emplacement de la maison en lisière de forêt fait que les nuits sont agréables, bien loin de la canicule ressentie ailleurs. (Seul mini bémol s’il en faut vraiment un, peut-être juste changer le sommier un peu mou de la grande chambre du bas.) La maison est au calme, nichée dans un domaine privée, à l’orée d’une forêt provençale préservée. Le village de Fuveau à quelques kms propose un marché le lundi et le jeudi et dispose de tous les commerces de proximité (boulangerie, boucherie, presse, pharmacie, etc.). Les grandes surfaces de Trets (10 km) sont là pour les grosses courses de la semaine. Nous avons également profité de ce séjour paradisiaque pour visiter la région. Avec quelques belles découvertes culturelles, sportives, naturelles ou gastronomiques/vinicoles… Quelques exemples : le vélorail de Pourcieux, Marseille et le Mucem, les calanques de Cassis, le Bois des lutins à Peypin, la miellerie des Rajols (à 1 km de la maison), la Fondation Vasarely à Aix et le vieux centre de la ville, Château La Coste au Puy-Sainte-Réparade, et tant d’autres… Il nous reste encore beaucoup à découvrir en Provence et nous reviendrons assurément !
