不满意：清洁度
I really am going to try to let Vrbo make this right, but I doubt that will happen. The listing for this place was pretty disingenuous. This will likely be my first and last time using this app. Though the host was responsive and polite, and did come out the first night to switch on an AC unit, the property did not have central air. There were three window units and two portable units that had to be filled with water daily. This was not explained to me before I arrived. The place clearly wasn’t cleaned before we got there, the neighborhood wasn’t very inviting, and there were bare minimum amenities - including no towels so we had to buy some. I just wanted to enjoy my weekend, but when we left the last day we saw roaches crawling around (which explained why there were pest traps all over the place) and the biggest, grossest bug I have ever seen before crawled out from under the couch. The sheets weren’t cleaned, there was pizza laying on the couch when my friend arrived. He wouldn’t even sleep there. So yeah, if you just need somewhere to lay your for a few nights I might understand but I could have stayed at a decent hotel for what I paid for this place. The host was a really nice guy, but unless I get reimbursed some of my money I will likely not be satisfied. Glad it was only a couple nights. I don’t know how this place has a 9.6 rating but complaining while I was there would have ruined my trip and caused discourse between the host and I so we made the most of it.
