On April 23, 2024 check-in was a complete nightmare! The front desk "manager" was unable to check in my husband since I made the reservation (I'm Gold HH member) and my travel plans changed and I was overseas. It was past midnight in Europe and I had no cell service. My husband had to call me via WhatsApp. The "manager", Cassandra Garcia, would not let me give permission for him to check in. I was tired and angry and asked for the GM of the hotel. She refused AND asked me to not yell at her. ANGER OVERLOAD! She told me to go to Expedia to add my husband's name to our room. Expedia had the reservation locked! I had no cell phone to call Expedia. MORE FRUSTRATION. Finally a chatbot got me to an Expedia person who put me on hold to add his name. I called my husband back via WhatsApp and the inept manager checked him in. I don't like this "policy" at all. I'll get better service at Sheraton or Marriott!

It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. There was a 24-hour eatery adjacent to the hotel that had motorcycles coming and going for hours in the middle of the night, blasting loud music and roaring their engines. It was impossible to sleep.

When we were walking through the Phoenix airport after arriving, I got a phone call that they had “unexpected stays“ and therefore were shuttling us off to their “sister property“ which is the the Holiday Inn next-door and that that they had “arranged “ for us to stay there. We had to go to the Hilton to get the paper to go to the Holiday Inn and when we got to the Holiday and they had no idea what we were talking about. However, in the end, it was fine we stayed at the Holiday Inn, which was subpar but fine. I am not sure what kind of scam this is, but it was very disappointing and I would not book there again.

Please update the website. It states shuttles run every 5-7 minutes. No, one must call. Most importantly, turns out there are FOUR Hilton Garden Inns Phoenix Airport. We went to the wrong one. Sadly not a good pick despite high star rating. Very, very loud room near the parking lot and exit door. Thin ceilings and so much noise. Bath tub had no stopper so you could not use it. I reserved two twin beds but we got the King bed sofa bed. We arrived the hotel around 9 and had a 6Am flight to catch next morning. I looked for front desk and was told that no twin beds were left. We were given a king suit with two big “vents” or something outside, which was very very loud and it was running and making big noise all night! In the morning, I was told that reservation was done through 3rd party. No room type was guaranteed. So be careful with this Hotel. The staff & service are terrible. When room was reserved, room type must be selected and it impacts the price! twin bed room was available upon my reservation then my reservation was supposed to be valid! It was my first terrible experience with a hotel stay during years! Be careful about this hotel! You may want to call to confirm your room type in advance and ask for documentation as they don’t take the reservation from 3rd party!! Also, ask for avoiding the noisy vents outside! Room211! Avoid this terrible room!!! Staff is not friendly and didn’t put any effort to help!! Very disappointing experience!
