Short stay for wedding

My wife and I stayed for a couple nights to attend a wedding and the place was very clean and comfortable. It’s an eclectic property and very convenient to get to the airport. The hosts were great and we enjoyed watching the chickens while having our morning coffee. We’d certainly stay there again.

THE GEM OF PHOENIX

My husband and I booked this spot for a long overdue anniversary getaway and it was everything we could’ve asked for and more. The property is so cute and spacious. We loved the outdoor patio area to hang out and enjoy the night air. The landscaping is beyond beautiful and transports you to a little desert oasis. Mike and Jackie were extremely thoughtful with the amenities they provided. There were snacks and drinks waiting for us when we got in. An abundance of coffee selections for the key rig and creamer included in the fridge. The towels were super soft and expertly folded. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and the sheets were so soft. The whole property is beautifully decorated and the entire aesthetic was so cute. The space is very well laid out and perfect for two people. The couch also pulls out into a bed! We decided to do a down day on our vacation and we just stayed in watched movies and played the board games Mike and Jackie had provided. Mike and Jackie were also extremely responsive and attended to everything that we needed super quickly. We are already planning our next trip to Phoenix and will be sure to book another stay at the beaker bunker!!!

Secluded in a beautiful garden

Loved the private guesthouse in the back of an absolutely amazing backyard. We loved the chickens. Very well stocked with all the basic essentials (definitely needed the iron to get ready for a wedding). I was a little confused how the minisplit worked (lowered the temp and it started heating the room?) but it was a minor detail in a very nice VRBO.

An oasis in the city.

We chose this VRBO for its proximity to an event my wife was attending. However, we were very pleased with the facility itself and the hosts to wholeheartedly recommend the “Beaker Bunker” to anyone wanting a fun, quirky, and convenient place to stay in Phoenix. While my wife was in class, I took advantage of the many antique malls in the immediate area and also spend one whole day at the nearby world class Musical Instrument Museum. The “Bunker” is a recently remodeled cottage which faces into a very fun and interesting back yard. The science theme decorations inside were also fun and entertaining. All possible amenities were provided and cleanliness was outstanding. Again, we will visit this VRBO again and would highly recommend it to others.

Home Away from Home

Jackie and Mike's property was immaculate, is in a great neighborhood with some of the kindest and most friendly neighbors, perfect location, and had everything we could need; they thought of everything! l would recommend ten times over to anyone staying in the Phoenix area. A special highlight was our own little private covered patio complete with a table, chairs, grill, and a view of their lovely landscaping.

We loved the creative energy of the yard, house and casita. Lots of color, comfy spots to sit and chickens and cats to amuse us! The casita itself was very clean, comfortable and fully ready for us - even with fresh eggs! Check in and check out were a breeze and we felt safe and unobtrusive.

Phoenix trip

We stayed 5 weeks at the guest house and everything was lovely. Mike and Jackie were wonderful hosts———-taking care of any concerns. Only downside is that there was no tv cable. Street parking wasn’t a problem at all. Would stay there again.

Modern oasis

I had an amazing stay at this property. The guest house was the ideal size and hand all the amenities I needed and more. The location was ideal (centralized) for all the meetings I needed to attend. All communication with the owner was professional and responses were extremely fast. The most pleasing memory is when I came and left I was greeted my amazing and loving wildlife :) I definitely would stay again every time I’m am in Phx!!

Beaker Bunker Unique Design

The interior of the property was comfortable, spacious, clean, unique and had a consistent theme (science - which was perfect for me!). Exterior was decorated with lights and very pretty at night. The one downside was there was no off street parking and several of the neighbors had festive celebrations causing us to park a way down the street.

BEAKER'S BUNKER "IT'S DA' BOMB!"

On arrival, we went to the main house and the Mike gave us a mini tour. The bunker was immaculately clean, and the plant-filled beakers were quirky and charming. We found the accomodation to have every thing we could want, including a great shower. Very easy to get to and on street parking was not a problem.
