We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very clean with daily housekeeping and fresh towels, which we truly appreciated. We had a wonderful sunset view from our room. Breakfast offered a great variety of food for every taste, and we enjoyed it every day. The spa center was fantastic — we had massages and treatments that were very relaxing. The sea was clean and warm, and the hotel grounds are large, green, and beautifully maintained. The location is peaceful, away from city noise, yet only about 15–20 minutes by taxi to the city. The staff were kind, attentive, and always willing to help. Overall, a great experience — we would happily return.

We stay at 3 bedroom villa on the beach. The villa was amazing, right on the beach with private pool. Master bedroom and living room with perfect sea view. Will return for sure.

Lifeguard and each staff were very good. I did not like being charged for pool toys and small amenities. Waiting for the buggy was at times very frustrating. It’s a big resort. Although the breakfast was very good the first few days it got very repetitive if you’re there for a long time.

Great property on the beach. The villas are very well appointed, are light filled and have a private pool and small garden. Delicious buffet breakfast although food outside of breakfast was average.

Beatifully managed property, clean and staffs are helpful. Breakfast buffet had good selection and daycare for kids were amazing. Spa was great, pool was amazing. Loved happy hour at the pool side bar and good food decently priced. Wish the pool had more "programs" like aquafit or pool equipments provided for free rather than charge for tube rentals. Overall we would recommend the property to family and friends.

We had a great time at Movenpick for a family holiday. Breakfast service was great and unbeatable. Also appreciate the free shuttle to the airport. But there needs to be more buggy services to the main gate and potentially options to hire bike as the resort is a good 10 mins away from other restaurants and massage places. But the hotel amenities were fantastic. The kids had an amazing time at the pool and the beach

We spent 8 nights in a villa with a private pool at Mövenpick Resort Phu Quoc, but were overall disappointed. Despite the nice appearance of the property, the service and comfort were not up to 5-star standards. We were asked to sign papers making us responsible for cleaning the villa’s kitchen and given an inventory list of every item, with fines for anything missing. This made the stay stressful rather than relaxing. Housekeeping was minimal and the location very isolated. Positives: friendly staff, good buggy service, and a beautiful main pool and garden. However, overall, we would not choose this hotel again.

The rooms were nice and clean as was the hotel in general. I think overall the hotel itself too many rooms for the facilities provided, you have to queue for breakfast and wait for available tables, there are not enough sun beds etc. Everything in the hotel was quite expensive comparable to outside the hotel would recommend eating elsewhere. Good location for covering all the different things to see in phu quoc. Hotel is nice and grounds beautiful just not sure it’s good value compared to other stays.

Stay at movenpick waa great. No hassles. Chef was friendly to cook vegetarian options in morning breakfast on whim's notice . Resort is really well placed, ambience is superb. Private beach that reaort has , is one of the best beach i have been to. Kid Zone is really well built with options of play from2 years to12 years. Lot of art and craft classes organised at kid zone which you can opt in for. High Tea Provided by resort is really nice.

Helpful, friendly staff. Facilities were generally good. It was not clear that the residence and the hotel were different, and we were away from the main facilities. This was disappointing and we would have booked the hotel if we had known. Beach/sea was not as clean as other resorts

Great staff, but overall not a pleasant stay

First of all, staff is very kind and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. Room was also nice. However.. The overall experience wasn’t good. Traveling as a couple I would not recommend - it reminds me too much of a mediocre all inclusive resort. If you have kids then maybe. Breakfast is a battlefield. Kids all over, people coughing on the food, guests taking things by hand instead of using the food tong etc. The vibe is just awful and not at all relaxing. If you want good vibes, relaxing surroundings and a bit of luxury feel to your stay, this is NOT the place to go.

I like the property especially the villas. The villa is spacious and larger than expected. Many staffs including the receptionist don’t know English that well and it seemed to me that they were not that experienced or knowledgeable of the hotel status. We were recommended by a receptionist to have dinner at a restaurant at the hotel. But, when we get there, the restaurant was dark and empty because it was closed for renovation for 3 months. There are space for improvement for the staffs at the reception or concierge. Most staffs seems to work under pressure and there are no smile in their faces most of the time.
