"WOW, this hotel went OVER THE TOP. After making the amateur mistake of forgetting to get our visas, we visited another country waiting for the visas to come in. We contacted that hotel to explain and see if they could salvage our stay until we got visas. We lost the first night as it was too late to cancel (booked via EXPEDIA). After finding out that Expedia charged us for the entire stay, we spoke directly with the hotel's manager, Mr. Dong, who assured us that we would be credited the last 2 nights. After 5 days, visas in hand, we asked Mr.Dong if we could arrive at 10am the next day. He said no problem, we have you booked in. After no sleep on a red eye from Manila, we got to the hotel exhausted and smelly. The manager on duty, Ms. Ann, assured us that the room will be ready early, and invited us to enjoy breakfast (INCREDIBLE!) while they take our luggage to the room, which ended up being ready early, despite our last minute plans to arrive. It was very large, clean and bright and we were on cloud nine with the level of hospitality that we received during this ordeal.
Both my wife and I run a small business in the hospitality world so we know how important this is. Needless to say, our expectations were greatly exceeded by the whole team, from management to the front desk, to the kitchen and the bell boys, all who took extra care to make sure we were going to the right places, for the right price.
