"When you visit Khao Sok or Cheow Lan Lake, the thing to do is stay in one of these raft houses. You’ll take a long tail boat from the dam area to the raft house, which depending on the time of year, you may get rained on. Praiwan Raft house is great because it’s a more authentic experience and is more tucked away in the park, right near where many of the wildlife tours are, so there are animals right next to you. "Nice quiet stay! Very beautiful place inside and out! Host was very friendly and responsive. Location is pretty far from anywhere but I stayed there because it was 15 min from a bus I had to catch so worked out for me! "
