「This apartment is in the Mermaid Seaside Hotel building, but it is privately owned and not a part of the Hotel. If on check in, you go to reception, they will tell you “ it’s nothing to do with us ! “
If you have any mobility problems, then you should not book this .. it’s up on a steep incline, and then a further approx 20 steps before you can reach reception !

The apartment is very dirty, and a danger hazard with plug sockets hanging off the walls, light switches...

「The day before my stay, I contacted the property via WhatsApp to confirm check‑in details. I was told everything was fine and to call again once I arrived onsite. About ten minutes later, they messaged me saying they did not have the room type I had booked and fully paid for months in advance.
