Really nice clean room and the staff were more than helpful and friendly however the food was unfortunately a disappointment with the rib eye steak being of poor quality, the onion rings being undercooked and the mushrooms being cold. The wait for food was also longer than expected.

Fantastic hotel a couple of miles out of Pickering. Very friendly host and staff, I couldn't fault it, other than there was no draught ale due to supply problems. The food both at breakfast and dinner was excellent.

I'm so glad I discovered this hotel. It's cozy, secluded, clean and comfortable. The owners are lovely. Ended up staying an extra night. Definitely would stay again.
