Magical Country Cottage Escape

Maybe I'm a little partial, but I really have to pinch myself when I go visit Callie's cottage. Imagine...a beautiful country road, quiet except for the occasional sound of a cow. A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, cookies are served. Deep sigh.

I Wish I Lived Here

There are so many lovely details about this place that I’ll let you discover on your own. I’ll just say that the hosts have put together the coziest most relaxing and healing space I’ve ever been to. I booked for some quiet “digital detox” time before starting a new job and I feel so refreshed. I spent my days reading, listening to music, and cooking in this lovely cottage. The fireplace is lovely, the bathtub will make you feel like a queen, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and bake. The hosts are truly gifted in decorating and in hospitality. If I ever win the lottery and buy a historical home I’ll be asking Anna to decorate for me.

Best little weekend getaway!

My husband and I were in much need of a peaceful weekend escape. This little cottage was absolutely perfect in every way! It completely hit the mark! Anna the host even had fresh perfectly baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us upon arrival! I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. We visited the nearby farmers market in Winnsboro and it too was so wonderful! We will definitely visit again! And hopefully many more! If you are looking for peace and relaxation with lots of charm this is it!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have given multiple deserving 5 star ratings. But this place is a six star rating. Everything for me was perfect. Private, quiet, accommodating, comfortable, clean, relaxing. Communication was easy, hosts are great and want to make sure you enjoy your stay.
