"Alors le cottage pas mal mais : l’emplacement est ok la visibilité pour voir une aurore de l’apt pas trop bien mai il y a un balcon donc pas mal. On a pas du tout aimé de payer 75€ pour les drapes je trouve ça abusé , s’ils louent à des étrangers ils doivent le savoir qu’on ne voyage pas avec serviettes et draps en avion et le dire clairement avant la réservation sinon ça fausse toute la concurrence … on serait peut être allé ailleurs … donc je donne pas une très bonne note il faut changer de...

"Ein sehr ruhiger abgelegener Ort, mitten im Wald am See. Am Steg hat man die Sonne den ganzen Tag. Das Richtige zum runterkommen und entspannen. Man sollte allerding seine Versorgung gut planen, denn zum nächsten Geschäft ist es weit. Im Haus ist alles da, was man braucht. Es gibt viele Pilze und Beeren im Wald aber natürlich auch viele Mücken. Also auch hier vorbeugen. Das Haus hat aber gut gesicherte Fenster, so das die Plagegeister dort nicht eindringen können."

"Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und begrüßte uns herzlich. Die Lage am See ist einmalig. Es ist wunderbar (auch nach der Sauna) darin zu baden oder mit dem Boot ein paar Runden zu drehen."

"Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, auf den Komfort der Zivilisation aber nicht ganz verzichten will, ist hier genau richtig. Schwimmen (Aufpassen beim Sprung vom Steg, das Wasser ist flach!), mit dem Boot den See erkunden, Essen auf dem Grill zubereiten, Angeln, Sauna, hier kann man wirkliche Erholung finden. In Hankasalmi sind genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, für alles was man benötigt. Herzlichen Dank an J. für die schnelle und einfache Kommunikation vor unserer Reise und den tollen Service!"

"This is like a toned down water park and sports hotel with all kinds of amenities including an ice cave with tube slides and a spa. But beware, because when you book the room, it has to say spa access in order to get into the pool and hot tub. Apparently, you can’t even purchase access there if you only book the room/breakfast. Spa (pool) access was not offered when we reserved. The lady at the front desk was super sorry that we couldn’t go, and she gave us a key that would access, but by then there was only 20 minutes left to use it that evening (it closes early), but we could have gone the next morning if we had wanted to deal with it before heading out (we chose not to). After eating in the onsite restaurant/bar (good food and good service) because there is literally only pizza in the town as far as we could tell, lol, the front desk lady called us over on our way back to the room and offered to let us go down to the ice cave. It was REALLY COOL! It was also closing down for the night, so we couldn’t slide, but it was a fun exhibit of ice and snow sculptures that we got to walk through. And they provided a coat, or even whole warm jumpsuit type full body coats to wear. (Good since it was close to 90° outside, lol, we were not prepared for winter when we randomly picked this hotel while driving around the country). They change the exhibit periodically, apparently. I would definitely go back and spend a couple of nights sometime."
