「We booked a family vacation with our 2 adult children, their spouses and our 7 grandkids. This Wimmer's lake house was stocked with more toys than you can imagine: Kayaks, paddle boat, playground, water shoes, life jackets, sand toys, bicycles, board games, wii... and the list goes on. I knew the house came with some extras... but not enough to cover 7 grandkids from 1 - 11 years! That's really saying something. 「We had a very nice stay. The houses were well kept and updated. The owners communicated exceptionally with us about any questions we had prior to our stay. I am a first time VRBO user and found the process went very well. The kids enjoyed having the cornhole game to use so that was a great surprise Lots of room to play outside Hwy 169 was very busy and hard to get across to the lake but we did not go swimming anyway. Not sure how deep that area is? Would recommend this VRBO! 」

「The Hillman House was amazing place for our multigenerational family reunion. Lots of space to connect, and room for everyone to eat together at the extended size kitchen table. Large number of private bedrooms to accommodate all is very unusual to find and beds were very comfortable with quality linens. Had lots of fun in the indoor gym playing pickleball and other games. The paddleboards were great for on the lake and there was a nice sandy beach area for the little kiddos to play. Can't...

「Super nice, tucked away little cabin. Hot tub was great to use and the rest of the place was really comfortable! Sometimes water pressure got a little iffy, but that’s just part of having a mid-size group of people using one well. Overall, very pleased with the stay here!」

「The cabin was clean, organized, and well stocked with towels, TP, paper towels etc. Air Con worked REALLY WELL. Window units, but they cooled that little cabin down considerably. Getting to the water is the only complaint I have. You have to cross the road you drive in on to get to the water. No crosswalk nearby so you're stuck waiting for a gap in the HEAVY traffic to run across the road to the dock. There is no other way to get to the water. It's a SUPER busy road with cars going at...

「Everything was just as described. And more than enough to keep you entertained, games, ping pong, darts. Kitchen was amazing and well equipped, (so much so we came home an ordered the same toaster, so cool). Beds were very comfortable. It was very relaxing just enjoying the lake and wildlife from the deck. Mike was very responsive for our inquiries. Lake toys were used by everyone in the family. Nice restaurant and grocery store in the town of Garrison also.」

「The property is amazing. About 25 minutes away from Brainerd, but still fun and quiet and beautiful. Would’ve loved to been earlier in the year so we could’ve used the boat. Definitely a nice place to stay.」
