  • The villa, located in a rural area, is ideally nestled between the soft and sandy beach of Marina di Pietrasanta and the sparkling town of Pietrasanta. The house is about 1 km from the beach and 5 km from Pietrasanta, a pretty town with dozens of restaurants, bars and ice cream parlors, well known for its art galleries and cultural life. During the summer you will find shops open at night everywhere in Versilia. the house is also very close to Lido di Camaiore (about 1.5 km), with its long and pleasant "walk" connected to the Viareggio promenade for a long and safe walk or a bike ride, without forgetting restaurants and shops. Forte dei Marmi with its incredible luxury shops is only 5 km away.
    if you like climbing, the Apuan Alps are about 30 minutes away by car. Experienced cyclists will enjoy following the "Giro di Italia" route on the surrounding hills, while families will love the beachfront cycle paths that connect Viareggio to Forte dei Marmi and beyond.
    the house is also a good starting point for visiting all of Tuscany. Lucca, with its ancient walls and its medieval charm, is only 20 minutes by car from the house and in summer it is particularly animated by its Lucca Summer Festival or in November by Lucca Comics. Pisa and the famous leaning tower are also very close (30 min driving). Florence is about 1 hour driving as well as the 5terre. The house is 5 minutes drive from the famous Versilia soft sandy beach, where your children can have fun playing for hours in a safe and clean environment. You can choose between a bathing establishment and a free beach. you will have a lot of choice and a lot of fun for you and your family. the bathing establishments always have a bar, restaurant and often also the swimming pool, sometimes they offer games and assistance for children, so that mum and dad can have fun or simply relax with a sunbath.
    The nearest supermarket is about 800 meters away and is always open, Sunday included
    Nightlife: in Marina di Pietrasanta there are discos, bars and many restaurants. the closest is only 800mt from the house. there are places for young and old.
    The villa is located near Viareggio and its port, where guests can rent a boat with the captain to go fishing or relax on a sailing boat to experience the sighting of dolphins and cetaceans. At the sailing club of Marina di Pietrasanta (15 min by bike) you can have private sailing lessons on small sailing boats, suitable for your age and level.
    The nearest golf course is the Alisei golf club (9 holes), which is less than 1 km from the house; A 15 minute drive from the house, you also have 18 holes at the Forte dei Marmi Golf Club

Excellent large family villa

Well presented villa with a nice pool. The website photos do not do it justice! Outdoor seating/eating terraces at both ends of the villa ensure that there is always a shaded area in which to sit. Excellent facilities are provided, beds were comfortable and bathrooms all well equipped with good showers. Outdoor space is generous allowing for ball games and frisbees. Inside is nicely furnished and feels spacious. Our host was welcoming and always on hand for any queries and also with advice for things to do. Location is a bit suburban but generally pleasant and peaceful and the shops are a five minute drive away. We all very much enjoyed our stay.

Jättefint hus där vi inte tyckte annonsbilderna gav huset rättvisa. Finare i verkligheten. Tyvärr ingen ac som hade varit skönt då vi var där mitt i värmebölja. Området ok men något stora vägar att ta sig över när man skulle till affär och strand som inte kändes helt ok att cykla och gå på.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la très belle maison d Alessia. Tout est conforme au descriptif. A huit personnes, nous avions chacun notre espace sans être les uns sur les autres. Alessia est charmante et nous a très bien accueillis. La maison est très bien située : proche de la mer et des grandes surfaces tout en étant dans un quartier calme .Nous avons déjà prévu de revenir. Wir waren im August 2017 für 2 Wochen in der Villa Alex. Wir besetzten das Haus mit 8 Erwachsenen und einem Kind. Uns stand das ganze Haus zur Verfügung. Das Haus ist modern, grosszügig und sehr gepflegt. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und konnten unseren Urlaub in vollen Zügen geniessen. EINE KLARE EMPFEHLUNG, PREIS/LEISTUNG IST TOP! Merci Alessia pour votre gentillesse et vos bons conseils notamment pour la visite des Cinque Terre. La maison est très agréable, conforme à l'annonce, spacieuse et très propre. De plus, la villa est très bien située : proche d'un supermarché pour les courses et du village avec la gare et son parking gratuit. Quant à la plage, elle est facilement accessible à pied ou en vélo. Une location où l'on a envie de revenir et que l'on recommande à la famille et aux amis. A bientôt ...

Great house close to beach

We, a family of 4 with 2 grownup kids, stayed a week at the front house (the smaller section of the two) of the whole property. Alissa, the lady of the house, gave us a warm welcome. She lives directly behind the house. The property is wonderfully built by her husband with lots of marble and is in overall great shape. Its location is perfect; 5 minutes by car for groceries (a giant supermarket) and the beach. The house also offers 5 bikes to use which comes in handy to avoid traffic. The neighbours next door have a rooster and chickens, so we were awoken early to fully enjoy the pool and the mountain views. A visit to Pisa and Lucca are a must and both are only 30-40 minutes by car away. Due to the uncomfortable beds (too narrow, mattresses too hard and too short, my 18 year old son is average size and his feet were hanging out), the incomplete kitchen inventory and little things (like the missing out of a bar of soap on arrival, no hairdryer, no extra bed cushions, early checkout (10AM), we give the house 4 out of 5 stars.

Schönes und grosses Haus in Strandnähe

Wir verbrachten zwei schöne Wochen mit 3 Kindern und 4 Erwachsene. Das ganze Haus war voll ausgestattet und hatte mehr als genug Platz für uns alle, dazu kam der gepflegte Garten. Wir verbrachten die meiste Zeit auf der Veranda oder am Pool. Die Lage ist ruhig, einzig in der Nacht hört man die Autobahn (ca. 500m). Der Strand ist gut 1km entfernt und ist mit dem Auto (3min) oder mit dem Fahrrad (10min) erreicht. Dabei ist einzig eine „grössere“ Strasse zu überqueren. Das Haus hat 5 eigene Fahrräder und die gut ausgebauten Fahrradwege beim Strand sind bestens für die Eingänger geeignet. Die Orte Lido di Camaiore, Marina di Pietrasanta und Viareggio sind praktisch alle auch mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar und es gibt im Sommer regelmäss Märkte und Feste, so dass fast an jedem Abend irgendwo etwas los ist. Am Strand gibt es hauptsächlich Privatbäder, welche aber für unser Verständnis puncto Preis-Leistung nicht zu empfehlen sind. Wir haben für ein Pavillon mit 2 Liegestühle und 2 normale Stühle 50 Euro pro Tag bezahlt. Mit den Kindern war der Aufenthalt am Pool wesentlich unkomplizierter. Es gibt nur wenige Abschnitte für öffentliches Baden, welche dann am Wochenende überfüllt sind. Alessia war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit; sie hat regelmäsig vorbei geschaut und gefragt, ob alles gut ist. Nochmals vielen Dank! Wir würden das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen auch wenn der Preis in der Hauptsaison ziemlich hoch war.

Beautiful place, excellent location

We had a wonderful time at this villa. Alessia is wonderful, accommodating and kind. The kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to cook a large meal for 12 without problems. The pool is perfectly sized for kids and adults. The surrounding areas have restaurants, small quaint towns, shopping and the beach!! There is even quite a vibrant night life on the weekends for those inclined. Overall would not hesitate to book again. Grazie Alessia!!!

Beach-Volleyball

Wir schlagen unser Beachvolleyball-Camp jeweils im Herbst in Pietrasanta auf. Der Strand in Marina di Pietrasanta ist dafür im Herbst bestens geeignet. Dabei sind jeweils Jugendliche und Erwachsene im Alter zwischen 15 und 52 Jahre. Wir übernachten jeweils bei Alessia im Haus Alex. Der Strand ist mit den hauseigenen Fahrrädern in 5-10 Minuten problem- und gefahrlos zu erreichen. Tagesausflüge in die Stätte wie Pisa, Florenz, Lucca sowie die Cinque Terre sind mit dem Zug leicht zu machen. Bei Alessia fühlt man sich sofort zu Hause. Das Haus ist einfach perfekt. Es fehlt an nichts. Alle fühlen sich sehr wohl und würden sofort wieder kommen. Danke Alessia und hoffentlich bis bald.

A wonderful family holiday in Tuscany

We enjoyed a fabulous 2-week holiday in Tuscany - up to 10 of us at any given time. There are many reasons for this. The villa was perfect. Spacious, very clean, great en-suite facilities, several eating areas, comfortable beds, compact kitchen. And of course there was the pool, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all - especially the children. The location was good to great. Great due to its location for visiting the main attractions of the region (Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Pietrasanta, etc.) and good in relation to local towns and restaurants. You really need a car to get around the region if you are planning multiple excursions, or making regular trips to the supermarket. The train and bus links are also good. We used bikes for local trips to the beach and along the front to various restaurants - it is too far to walk. The children and adults all really enjoyed the nightly cycle into towns for cafe/restaurants - very safe. Fortunately there were bikes supplied with the villa. That takes us on to the owner Alessia and her family. She was great. Very helpful, not at all intrusive, but available when we needed something or some guidance. A very kind, generous and genuine person. All-in-all we had a great time, and have very fond memories of the holiday.

Perfection ! We enjoy a lot !

We were eleven (3 childs And 8 adults) And spent à wonderfull week in this house. We enjoy a lot the pool And the rooms (one was open witch us not vert convenient but the others were very good). There are Many bathrooms. Kitchen is enough big for eleven. May Be the BBQ could be improved with gas. Pietrasanta is Nice, and we enjoy the beach (thank to agrement with a private beach with the owner) by using bikes of the house. Alessia welcomes us very well And We hope coming back again next year.

Excellente maison de vacances.

Villa très bien située pour qui veut visiter la Toscane, entre les Cinque Terre au Nord et Sienne/Sangimignano au Sud. Villa spacieuse et très agréable à vivre. Piscine avec spa entretenue régulièrement, un régal pour les enfants mais aussi pour les adultes ! Petit carré potager (plantes aromatiques, tomates, piments) à la disposition des vacanciers. Et, pour agrémenter le tout, propriétaire chaleureuse, de bon conseil, toujours prête à répondre aux demandes sur la durée du séjour. Merci Alessia. Ciao

eccellente, il meglio che si possa desiderare

Abbiamo letteralmente adorato questa casa che all'esterno si presenta come una villa di beverly hills, con piscina e giardino molto curato, ed all'interno cela una sorpresa ancora più bella. Si tratta infatti di una casa nuovissima con camere ampie e confortevoli, una sala molto grande per poter condividere i momenti di relax e diversi bagni provvisti di tutto. E' soprattutto l'attenzione ai dettagli la caratteristica che ci ha conquistati però: le camere erano pulitissime e le lenzuola e gli asciugamani morbidi e profumati. Non ci è mancato davvero niente. Anche la posizione è risultata molto comoda, vicina all'autostrada e a pochi minuti da lucca che era la nostra destinazione, Per non parlare poi della proprietaria, una persona deliziosa, molto disponibile ed ospitale, attenta ad ogni particolare. Non vediamo l'ora di tornarci, abbiamo passato una vacanza meravigliosa.

Great Villa, great location

Its a new modern house, with very nice new furniture. The terrace of the villa is excellent, with beautiful high quality table and chairs overlooking the nice pool. Also the garden of the villa is in top condition. The owner Its is very friendly and helpful. Its a very short drive to the beach, by car a by bicycle. Also a great large super market is only a 5 minute drive away. I believe the rental price of the villa is very competitive for this kind of quality. Value for money in a very positive way. One minor comment and thats the mosquitos in the evening. The villa does not have any mosquitos protection in the bedroom windows and does not have air conditioning. So you have to be prepared for a few mosquitos bites during the night! But this would not stop us from coming again to this lovely place. We very much enjoyed it. Versilia's beach is great. We did not select the nearest beach club, but we went a little bit further to Bagno Grazia. What a great place as well. It made our holiday perfect!

A beautiful home away from home.

We had a wonderful week in this lovely villa. It has everything you need for a perfect holiday. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean with a lovely pool, garden and veranda with great views towards the Tuscan Hills. The owner, who lives close enough to be on hand if you need assistance, but was never obrusive, made sure it felt like it was our home away from home and was both welcoming and very friendly. It was a pleasure to deal with her both in planning / booking our holiday and during our stay. We have stayed in many villas in many countries over the years and I would have to rate this villa as being in our top 3. Thank you Alessia, we hope to come back one day. Great place in Toscany

Das Positive: - Objekt entspricht genau der Beschreibung - Grosses, neues und geräumiges Haus, wunderbar kühl trotz Hitze draussen - Grosser, sauberer Pool, der viel Freude macht - Alessia ist super nett und unkompliziert, hilft gerne bei jedwelchen Problemen Das etwas weniger Erfreuliche: - Die beschriebenen 800m zum Strand sind wohl etwas weiter, aber mit dem Rad gut zu bewältigen (Viel Autoverkehr!) - Die Bienenhäuser gleich gegenüber dürften erwähnt werden im Inserat, es landen dauernd verwirrte Bienen im Pool... Wohl nichts für Allergiker! Aber im Ganzen: Eine klare Empfehlung! Hat viel Freude gemacht!! -

Lovely. We will go back

This is a lovely home with a private garden Everything you want nearby (shopping Forte dei Marmi, beaches, etc) The house was clean and the owner met us on arrival to show us around. Evenings we had a quiet BBQ and a swim in the pool which were also quite perfect. We would definitely recommend this rental to a friend and in fact hope to go back again ourselves Sandi v
