Family get away

Cabin was super clean, great layout. Loved the pool and hot tub, very comfortable beds, had everything we needed’. Parking is tricky if more than 2cars.

Great place!

Great place to stay! The pool and hot tub were wonderful to come back to after a long day of sightseeing and shopping in Gatlinburg. The cabin was really clean and communication with the host was wonderful. Full disclosure, there is a compost factory down the street which we could smell from time to time but, We would 100% rent again!

We had a wonderful week staying at the laughing bear cabin. The place was clean and everything was nice and had everything you would need. To no fault of the owner, it is near a compost site and in the mornings it was a bit stinky, however, it was not all the time. The parking is a bit tricky if you have more than two cars and if you are disabled, as the parking is at a very steep lean. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

The pool wasnt clean when we arrived, i tried contacted the host multple times because of tv. It stated maintence on pool Wednesday between 9 to 5 and no one showed . The smell from the landfill is awful of mornings when its chili out but only smelled it right before we left

The house was nice and clean but the shampoo and body wash bottles were empty. One hairdryer didn’t work The hot tub was cold and we had to google instructions to figure out how to warm it up. The driveway was extremely steep and the odor from the landfill was bad! As long as you were inside it was all good. I liked the king size beds. We got locked out but was able to contact host and they immediately fixed the problem

Trashy-LITERALLY

Cabin overlooks the local trash dump. You can smell the rotting trash when you open the door to go outside. Ever time my 4 year old grandson had to go to the car, he almost threw up. While the cabin itself was beautiful and everything that was described, the overwhelming smell of rotting trash kept us from enjoying the outdoor balconies, the hot tub, and any of the fresh Mountain air we were looking forward to. For the premium price we paid for this weekend getaway ($2k+), I was sorely disappointed. I would NOT recommend this cabin to anyone, and have lost trust in VRBO!
