“I do not recommend this accommodation. There is a health and safety concern due to a rodent infestation. We were extremely disappointed with our reservation through VRBO for the cabin in Idylwild. The reservation was made for my daughter and her new husband for their honeymoon. In addition to the lack of adequate heating, insufficient water pressure, making it impossible to take a shower, there was significant rodent activity. Enough that it kept them awake at night. “Very pleased with this property overall. We left the Palm Desert to get out of the heat, mission accomplished! We noticed on the listing that the home was air conditioned and it die have 2 portable room air conditioners vented outside. It was extremely warm and a couple of box fans would have helped circulate the cool air. Other than that, we really enjoyed this property…highly recommend!”

“The house is new and modern, with good array of cooking utensils and linens. Floor plan upstairs is odd. The master bedroom is open to the downstairs (loft style), so it lacks privacy. The upstairs bathroom is at the end of the master suite so people sleeping in the other bedroom have to walk through the master bedroom to use the facilities (or go downstairs). The floor plan is best for people who are comfortable sharing sleeping and bathroom spaces. No early check-in. ”
