「This was a nice property, as in pictures. It was secluded and view from back porch to a lake/pond is great with a morning coffee or late night cocktail. Location is easily accessible to local venues. Publix and liquor store at end of street, and gas station across street. The Host does need to correct some issues and she does reply. Overall stay was great and we did a weekend in Matlacha (Matt LaShay.. LOL) .」

Jay is a wonderful host, the place was exactly as described, clean as a whistle, comfortable, everything worked, quiet, relaxing, I can't find enough superlatives to describe how much we enjoyed the VRBO.If you're a gardener, you;re going to absolutely LOVE what Jay has done with his 4 acres. If you like fresh seafood, you MUST drive 15 minutes down the main road to Island Crab Seafood (St. James City, not the processing facility in Pine Island...

「We had a lovely stay at the Waterside cottage. The house was perfect….compact but fully functional. We were able to dock our boat in the canal behind the house. There is a cute little restaurant/bar/marina at the end of the street….an easy walk or quick bike ride away. When a storm threatened to keep us there another day (we came by boat), Darlene was very accommodating and understanding! We’ll certainly come back again!」

「This is a beautiful home, nicely decorated and well maintained, on a canal on Pine Island. The canal provided easy access to waterways making Sanibel and Captiva Islands a short trip away. There was plenty of room to park our boat trailer during our stay. Check-in was easy and the host was quick to respond to a couple of questions we had upon arrival. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.」

「The owner was very accommodating. They allowed us to bring our 2 dogs. The views were amazing. The only thing that was not great was the lack of kitchen space. There are no counters, no hangers, not enough bath towels, and no iron. Be sure to bring what you need and than you can kick up your feet and enjoy yourself. I would book again.」
