"Normally I would rate excellent; I’ve stayed twice, both times with private jacuzzi tub in room and they’ve been great stays with very clean and last night was different, the bathroom floor had spots under the door and the toilet wasn’t clean; the bed sheets were wrinkled like they’d been slept in on the one side, I was so tired and they only had the one private tub room. The attendant seemed like she had her hands full, then I checked into the room and then discovered the wrinkled sheets and dirty bathroom floor and toilet. I did what I could to make myself comfortable. Both the bathtub and jacuzzi tubs were clean so I didn’t complain, I’m not a complainer but housekeeping fell down on that one…I will say something next time, I really like staying there otherwise for soaking in the private tub after a long drive. Hope this was a one off. Two times I stayed before was great… "

"We’ve been visiting this location for years and the bed mattresses and couches have always been uncomfortable."

"There was no staff at this hotel. It was run by a property management company that let you in remotely. You had to call a number and send texts to reach anyone. And it appears part of the hotel is rented out as long-term rentals. The room had been remodeled, the fixtures were new, but the cleanliness was lacking severely."

"The listing provided amenities that we paid for that we only found out did not work, once we were on our way. We packed accordingly for 8 people, thinking we had a washer and dryer as the listing stayed, as we were en route to the property, we were told the washer was broken. When I questioned it, I was met with a sarcastic reply that most people only use it for towels anyway. Not us. When we arrived the backyard was also littered with cigarette butts and white claw cans. Part of going on a trip to the Forrest is also having fires and s'mores. I was advised by the host that no outdoor bonfires were allowed (this is not in the listing), however upon arrival there was a fire pit in the backyard with some slightly burned wood. When the host advised us that there were no bonfires allowed, she mentioned how great the indoor gas fireplace was... Well guess what, that didn't work either. The first night I tried to grill my family some chicken and started the grill, 10 minutes later now at 350 degrees, the grill was smoking furiously. Opened it up and all of the greece and gunk at the bottom was on fire, there was loads of it and the grill had not been cleaned for a some time. So now we didn't have a grill to use.The air filters and ducts hadn't been cleaned in probably years, this caused my kids to have pretty bad allergies. We left this place far cleaner than how we came, cleaning up after previous guests and it was not a great experience overall. "

"We were looking for a place to stay overnight on the way back to Denver. This fit the bill perfectly with a clean, comfortable, and roomy cabin. We each had our own room, and the staff on site (Ka Trina) recommended restaurants. Parking is easy, and there are places to walk. We didn't get to use the amenities, but saw a pickleball court, playground, and signs for other activities. "
