Fern Cove sits on a wooded hilltop in a private neighborhood surrounded by nature. Main floor living with 4 bedrooms on the main floor, which includes the master bedroom. Access to Pisgah National Forest is just a short 5 minutes away. Tubing, biking, hiking, & exploring over 250 waterfalls. Convenient to Asheville & Hendersonville. 30 minutes to the Biltmore House. Spacious separate areas & large areas for congregating w/ family & friends. The covered wrap around porch is perfect for sipping morning coffee, enjoying evening conversation, swinging on the porch swing or watching the nighttime stars. Kick back and enjoy the abundant wildlife. The wooded area is great for kids wanting to explore & build forts. On the second floor is the family suite with 2 queen beds & a twin bed with a tv & a full bath. On the main floor is the master bedroom with a whirlpool tub & walk in shower. The guest bedrooms are situated down a separate hallway. Main floor living with a large kitchen with plenty of dining space & extra pantry storage located in the dining room, right off the kitchen.

Fern Cove has a spacious garage with a ping pong table & tv, perfect for entertaining & those needing bike storage.

The outdoor fire pit is a favorite too!

Please note that this home is located in a quiet and private neighborhood, and that no parties are allowed.

We are unable to accommodate any type of snow plow to the roads or driveway. This means that if there is an inclement storm in our area that could effect your reservation, it could be altered or refunded. Safety is the top priority during winter reservation months.

We only accept 1 night bookings last minute.

Beautiful Home in a great area!

Nice pet friendly and family friendly home

We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. Saw an albino squirrel which is apparently not uncommon in Brevard. We had no issues with the amenities or the house.

NC Mtn Bike trip

Great place for family trip to Pisgah Forest. Large home with many different sleeping options. Fire pit was a nice bonus. Would stay here again.

Family Thanksgiving and Christmas

Wonderful place we love coming up here. I think this is our third time. It’s perfectly set for our needs with a growing family to come and see the great grandparents. Do appreciate the quick response on everything that we talk about. Will be setting up another time and date next year.

Annual Men's Mountain Bike Trip

This was our second year staying at this home and had the same great experience as last year! We will surely be back next year! The house is large enough for our group and the large garage allows us to get our biking gear ready for rides in the morning!

Good for all ages

The property was a welcome home base for our families multi generation mountain vacation. Our twenty something’s were happy with the proximity to the areas outdoor adventures. Our over eighties were able to navigate the house well with only a few steps to the main body of the house and bedrooms. I was happy with the large kitchen and dinning room for family meals.

Beautiful Space

Our clogging team families enjoyed this home. After an exhausting performance we enjoyed relaxing together in the greenroom. Our teens took to the garage and played pingpong, etc. If we need a place in this area again, we will seek this location again.

Wonderful Family Wedding Weekend

Our family of 12 adults stayed for five nights and six days in this comfortable home in a beautiful neighborhood. The trees were beginning to turn and the fire pit was a big hit. Plenty of room to spread out or to come together for a family meal. Great outdoor areas and the pups had room to run and explore. Our niece was married at a beautiful farm venue which was quite convenient. Enjoyed hiking and beautiful falls in our down time. Would highly recommend.

Quiet neighborhood in forested hills

The home is spacious, clean, and well-furnished with all the appliances and utensils you might need. There is a sunny south-facing porch with comfy chairs and a nice den with a gas fireplace. It's very near a Pisgah National Forest entrance and a short drive to the cute little town of Brevard. Lots of outdoor activities (hiking, biking, etc.), good barbecue places, and brewpubs. Asheville is close enough to explore, but far enough (~35 minutes) that you'd probably want to plan to spend your day there.

This is a beautiful , clean and spacious home. Two refrigerators was a huge bonus! The large round dining room table was perfect for sharing a family meal. There was plenty of room for parking 4 cars. I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay.

This house is perfect for larger groups that need lots of bedrooms, beds and seating. The kitchen is VERY well appointed - you won't need to bring any gadget. Very peaceful, quiet and comfortable.

The house was perfect for a large group. The common areas are spacious, and the house is clean and well stocked. Note, however, that while it is one-floor living inside, there are steps to get in, no matter which door you use, So a bit tricky for my elderly mom with a walker. Otherwise, excellent and would highly recommend!

Beautiful home in one of our favorite mountain towns. The house is roomy and cozy. Beautiful kitchen with all the amenities. The open kitchen and living room was perfect for our family. The house is located close to waterfalls and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. The porches were one of my faves about the home.
