Located only 10 minutes from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, this high-end, 2-bedroom home has a gravel driveway with ample parking space and a garage. The main entrance of the home is accessible by 2 steps. The entryway opens into the great room with tongue-and-groove ceilings, big windows for tons of natural light and big mountain views, a wood-burning fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating, a TV, and unique rustic touches. A half bath is located just off the entryway. The dining area is off the living room and has a table with spaces for 6. The thoughtfully equipped kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances, a standard coffee pot, a Keurig, and all the dishes, pots, and pans guests will need to create meals for their group.
The primary bedroom in Maple Cottage is located off the great room and is complete with a King-sized bed and a second TV. The ensuite primary bathroom is home to dual sinks, a luxurious soaking tub, and a custom-tiled shower. Bedroom 2 boasts 2 Queen-sized beds and another ensuite bathroom with a single sink and large tiled shower.
Maple Cottage guests can soak up the outdoors, without even leaving! The massive mountain views are visible from almost every room in the house! Enjoy morning coffee or tea from the cozy screened-in porch, while soaking up the views. Or cookout with the gas grill and enjoy the evening breeze. As guests of the Sutton Knob community, Maple Cottage guests enjoy shared access to the green space within the community, which showcases the natural beauty Transylvania County offers. Scenic hiking trails within the development allow guests the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the outdoor experience and enjoy the views of the nearby Pisgah National Forest. The Meadows boasts two ponds, streams, and small waterfalls. The community pavilion and firepit are also available to guests of the Maple Cottage!

Guests can go straight to the property they have reserved at check-in time.
