  • #Trovember Round barn at Hancock Shaker Village. I've been wanting to explore here since visiting the Shaker Village in Canterbury, NH also the one in Sabbathday Lakes, Maine. The history, culture and Shaker way of life is so interesting and appealing in its simplicity. We visited in April and were excited to meet and0wt the newly born farm animals. We took a tour to hear about daily life in a Shaker Village and then enjoyed a walking trail through woods and meadow and finished off with some delicious ice cream. "Tis a Gift to be Simple, 'Tis a Gift to be Free..." and it's a gift to explore this well-preserved living history museum!

Only stayed for 1 night but was very impressed with this property. The room was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable as well. Had my two kids with me so the pool and hot tub was an amazing amenity. Left early in the morning to ski so the stay was short, but would’ve loved to stay longer and will definitely look to return to this property in the future.

What a great find! Fantastic accommodations with great customer service. My kids asked if they could take the pull out couch home with them it was so comfy. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The staff graciously allowed us a late checkout and the maintenance and grounds crew was impressive. They kept the parking lot clear through a 2 ft snow storm.

The roomy and comfortable suite was a step above a typical hotel room. We took advantage of the full kitchen to prepare our own meals. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We will definitely consider staying here again at a future trip to the Berkshires.
