"My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property! The place was exceptionally clean, and the peaceful, serene atmosphere made it the perfect getaway. The surroundings were beautiful, and I felt relaxed and at home. The screened in porch and deck looking out to the beautiful nature and fall colors was perfect! I’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a quiet retreat in a quiet peaceful neighborhood."

"This is a good spot for the area. Very quiet and private. Kids felt like they were in a true cabin with a lofted space overhead. Plenty of sleeping space with three beds. The only reason it’s not a perfect score is that the central AC wasn’t working and only a window unit was cooking the space. It would have also been nice if the AC was already running since the inside of the place was in the mid 80s when we arrived. Otherwise, there were a lot of nice touches which showed a lot of thought...

"Property was beautifully decorated. Beth was extremely responsive and even same day ordered an extra fan for us. My kids thought the secret room was great and it was very nice to have pool table, ping pong and poker. Used the gym and the pool at the owners club but it was a little hot for tennis. Very nice stay - including very easy check in and out. "

"The cabin was great for a weekend getaway. The cabin was fully stocked and we enjoyed a nice, quiet stay at the cabin. We also explored the area with short drives to a supper club in East Dubuque and shopping in Galena. The place had everything we could want and we would definitely stay again!"

"If you are looking for a unconventional place to unplug and unwind, the Cheese Wedge Cabin is a charming getway. Etienne is a lovely host who made us feel welcome and comfortable on her farm.
