“Hotel Resturante Ruas is a lovely hotel with superior guest service. Our room was spotless and easily accessible. The hotel's location cannot be beat for centrality and usefulness for the Camino. Its restaurant and cafeteria ensure you have easy access to good meals. And the location puts you next to all kinds of restaurants, shops, and churches. The accommodations are simple, but they are clean and there is air conditioning. I would not hesitate to stay here again.”

“Breakfast was delivered to our room, jetted tub was there which we expected as we were walking a lot. However, the appearance of this building was not pleasant. The reception had a tiny window (10 by 10 cm) and looked like the receptionist was hiding something or scared of something. There were two huge iron gates on both sides of the building which she opened just for us to get in and closed right after. This building reminds us of a prison. Our assumption is that this place is for human and……

“Nicely maintained grounds. Gardens make it a nice surrounding. Available pool needs algae control. Water was clear, but algae spots could bee seen across both adults and kids pools. Rooms are a little tired, but clean and nice. It is a good rural hotel for the price. Location is away from downtown pontevedra, but right on el Camino, so it is a good space to stop. It is on top of a hill, so you will need extra legs for the final stretch.”

“I would say this is a hidden gem. An elegant hotel in the heart of Caldas de Reis, so very convenient if you are making the Camino. It is way above others in this route. Nicely appointed rooms. It was nice to see some other pilgrims from El Camino staying here as well. Breakfast was nice too. Checking in took a little longer than expected, but service was courteous and informative. When you are getting to your hotel after a stage of el Camino, you just want to hit a shower as soon as……
