"Great hotel with great location. They are in the process of updating the property and building what, I think, are private condos, so the overall property is improving. Staff is friendly and fluent in English. Had one run in with an issue due to a door malfunction, and while it was not a positive interaction, in the end, it was resolved amicably. Overall, wonderful location, great people, lovely restaurant with great food and exceptional staff. A great, great property. Critiques would only include small pools, and there are only two; one has been relegated to private access with the property renovation, but Expedia description does not represent that; however, you’re at the ocean. Do you need a big pool? Great place for access to world class waves. Loved my stay despite a one hiccup. "

"Not bad. Super small room, but the only time I spent there was sleeping and showering so I didn’t need anything fancy. Staff are absolutely amazing. Two minute walk from the beach which is a plus. Lots of great shops and restaurants within walking distance. "

"The layout of the property was nice. The food, was ok, buffet could have used some different options day to day. The cook and serving staff were awesome. Unfortunately the only thing I found that I didn’t like was the bar staff. Long waits for drinks because they were “busy” with the younger girls and they never stirred drinks after making them. Also were very stingy on the pours, I am used to free pours at an all inclusive and these staff were using jiggers to pour an ounce. Overall, the resort was what i was looking for. "
