「We had 13 adults & 13 kids from 0-14. Beds for everyone, stuff to do for all ages, and space to get away from the chaos when necessary. Kitchens had what we required for cooking. Beautiful scenery and put together in a great way. Owners did a great job of communicating instructions and very friendly. Highly recommend.」

「Before we arrived, we got all sorts of great info from Larry on places to visit, hike, eat. A great list of places! This is a great place to venture out and around the area. There are a lot of close places to entertain all things a family might want to do. Our dog loved it, especially when the coyote family below the cliffs started howling each night. 「We had three small families rent this home during a weekend stay for travel baseball. We loved the porch and the patio area. We had plenty of space to sleep with private space and enjoyed the living space together. Host very responsive to answer our questions.」

「Came out for a little fasting and self reflection. This was the perfect location. I loved the fact that there was no TV to distract me. Just me and nature. Watching the ravens at the top of the mesa was absolutely wonderful. The bed was a dream and the quiet so refreshing. A perfect escape from the city.」

「We came here over spring break with the family. Our kids rage from 6-13 years old and they all loved it. Watching the sunsets by the fire was our favorite part. The house is old but clean and has almost everything you need from cups to condiments. As mentioned in other reviews, there is nothing to sit on outside (and nothing from the house you could use) so bring some camp chairs. We didn’t have room, otherwise we would have brought some. It also wouldn’t hurt to bring your own pillows/blankets....

「Our son was getting married in Cleburne and we wanted a place large enough for my family including my parents, sister’s family, and aunt’s family. This place is ideal for gatherings and we loved the large kitchen/ living area just to kick back and chat. Everyone was able to get ready with ease. Again very comfortable, although a bit off the road. But worth it. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.」

「Very well done remodeling of an old building. Only hotel in downtown area and many dining choices available. Cons: Train whistles through out the night as well as many fire/ambulance sirens 24 hours. At the rates charged some hot items could be added to the breakfast.」

「The property was excellent. Great views of the lake. Next to boat ramps. Dollar general and stores down the road. The only negative were the beds a all full size, not ideal when coming from king size beds. Overall a great stay, we cooked inside and had a wonderful visit with family.」

「The room close to the swimming pool. It's quite noisy at night. There's no any restaurants nearby, but the breakfast was good. Check in and check out was quick.」
