Staff were really helpful and kind. Room was immaculate, bathroom was spotless and linens were high-quality and pristine. Bed was comfy, and some nice touches like local treats and toiletries. The breakfast was really good quality and reasonably priced. Biggest downside is that the room was cramped— we were on a several-day trip, so it was hard to manage our large suitcases in the space. Would have also helped to have some more hooks or something to hang clothes and towels from. Overall, would definitely stay here again, though might shell out for a larger room.

We were just up for the one night for the music on Plymouth Hoe. It was literally a 10 minute walk from The Hoe which was handy because the weather was horrendous. We were greeted at the door by Ian and Twigs. The guest house is immaculately decorated and I was impressed as soon as I walked in through the door. We booked a cosy double which for the one night was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and spotless. The shower was quite possibly the best shower I've had in any hotel I've stayed in. On checking out we had a brief chat with Ian and Suzy (and Twigs) who were really friendly and obviously worked really hard to maintain such a wonderful guesthouse. I would highly recommend staying there and we'd definitely go back.

Lovely place

Really lovely place to stay. Very well kept and seemed to have been recently decorated/updated. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. We were visiting for the Plymouth Summer Sessions and it was the perfect place to stay, so close to the event!

Amazing boutique style hotel !

Im so glad i found this hotel in Plymouth, it was an absolute delight to stay here. As somebody who stays in hotels 2-3 nights a week, I try to stay away from the soulless, big chain hotels where there is a complete lack of personal service. Craft House is the polar opposite and Ian & Suzy work so hard to give their guests a lovely experience.

Upon checking in at The Craft House Ian and Twiglet were incredibly welcoming, the Hotel itself is amazing, well presented and decorated, the rooms are comfortable and clean (the tunnocks caramel wafers are a nice touch) and if that wasn’t enough when we told Ian, Suzy and Twiglet we were staying there to celebrate getting married, they gave us a hand made congratulations card. The breakfast was amazing all the ingredients are locally sourced this is by far one of the best Hotels in Plymouth.

Highly recommended stay! Exceptionally clean and comfortable with some lovely little additional touches to make the stay memorable. I wish I’d have found The Craft House sooner! A beautiful place with delightful decor, and delicious breakfasts with well-cooked, well chosen ingredients. Ian and Suzy are wonderful hosts and have the balance just right - it was a pleasure to meet them, alongside Twiglet who gave the perfect greeting on arrival. I was made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!
