I really enjoyed my stay at the Grosvenor. I appreciated its history and the two lounges had comfy seating. It was a few minutes walk away from The Hoe where I enjoyed strolling and sitting on the benches looking out onto the water. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. I loved the deep bath. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains made the room nice and dark for sleeping. Breakfast was delicious with many options. I highly recommend this hotel.

Shower cubicle needs a revamp and something to put soap, shampoo etc in Carpet looked a bit grubby Bed wasn't comfortable, too soft for me, guess may suit others There is a guest lounge/dining room complete with fridge & microwave, but the lady who checked me in didn't advise me about it. A bonus if you know about it!

Location was great for what we needed. The room we stayed in was right up on the 4th floor. Clean and tidy however bathroom could do with an update sink was broken and repaired.The room was very humid . Window opening very slight on a lock. Couldn't open further. The staff we had interaction with were very friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded at the property, not sure why. The rooms have no air conditioning which could be an issue with the weather recently and one of our towels had a stain. We had to park 2 streets over as it is very limited at the hotel.

Very average for the price. No fridge, no air con, no lift. Stains on the mattress and bedding which was not a nice discovery. On top of that was charged for items we didn’t even use so had to argue our case. Will not be staying again
