"We chose this hotel for a relaxing luxury getaway in the Poconos, and while the property itself has good potential, our overall experience was disappointing—especially considering the price point.
We visited during Labor Day weekend, so the hotel was extremely crowded. One thing that caught us by surprise was that breakfast was not complimentary and cost approximately $35 per person. As vegetarians, we found the options limited and chose not to use it.
The weather during our stay was cold and rainy, and although the hotel has a heated swimming pool, it is quite small and remained consistently overcrowded, making it difficult to enjoy.
The biggest issue was housekeeping. We repeatedly had to call multiple times each day before receiving service, and it seemed the hotel was understaffed during peak occupancy.
Another major concern was that the hotel was not very baby-friendly. We were traveling with an infant and needed access to a microwave to sterilize bottles, but the only microwave available was near the help desk rather than in a common guest-accessible area. That said, I genuinely appreciate the front desk staff, who were kind and helped us sterilize bottles and warm our food whenever needed.
We also struggled with dining. The fine dining restaurant was difficult to access due to limited seating availability, and we were unable to enjoy that experience during our stay.
Overall, for a stay that cost around $1,000 for three nights, we felt we did not receive the level"
