Beautiful view and great size place. Very appreciative of kitchen and air conditioning. Just the hot water tap falls off in share bathroom. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

We were allocated the Penivity villa and found the experience to be very much in line with the description and photos - a bit dated but very spacious and comfortable.. Excellent communication from Weekenda.

Beautiful hunter valley stay for family

The property was immaculate, very family friendly. We originally booked directly with the Cypress Lakes resort and had issues with our room so we were able to book this property last minute and the team were very accommodating and understanding, saving our family escape and ended up in a much nicer apartment. The kids had a wonderful time!

This was the perfect accommodation for us to stay at when our daughter got married in the Hunter Valley 3 weeks ago, the men loved playing golf the day before and the morning of the wedding while us ladies were busy with setting up the venue etc, everywhere was in close vicinity to our accommodation 👌

Family Weekend in the Vineyards

Very spacious with plenty of room to entertain. Extremely well fitted out with everything you need to cook at the property. Everything was within a 5-10 minute drive from where we were staying which made it very easy to get around. The guys that played golf said the golf course was one of their favorites. Courtesy bus to go to the restaurants on site was a plus as it made it easy for one of the nights we ate out. We would definitely return thank you.

I organised a 50th birthday celebration and we had a fabulous stay at Cypress Lakes Villas 675, 677 and 681. All Villas were immaculate, very comfortable and contained everything and we needed for our stay. The resort was also wonderful and very close to all the wineries and sites. Golf for the boys was the highlight with a plunge in the pool afterwards. Thank you so much Rachel for your assistance and for ensuring a wonderful weekend away. We will be back for sure!

Ok, but needs some love

The location was great and the convenience was superb. The accomodation itself needs some love. It hasn’t been updated in quite some time. The fridge was missing shelves and the pans were old and rusty. There was a faint smell of vomit in the property so no doubt it’s been used in the past by big groups of people. It could be an amazing place but needs some attention to make it more welcoming.

Excellent Apartment except for the lounge

Great apartment except for the lounge. The leather lounge was old and falling apart. We were covered in little white specks of leather all over our black clothes, the mat when we arrived was covered in white pieces of leather. Not happy we all have to get our cloths dry cleaned now.

Cypress Lakes resort unit

After booking with Stayz, paying in full, then having to give all my details to Weekenda again, including credit card details was a bit weird. Directions to property were wrong, thank goodness the unit number was correct. Paintwork getting tired, not enough cutlery & crockery for a 4 person 2 day stay. Not as nice as some others we have stayed in Cypress Lakes complex. No fireplace for instance. Comfortable but not executive luxury.

Great unit but could be improved

We enjoyed our stay at the unit (774) over a couple of nights. It was equipped adequately and comfortable, though the furniture was well worn and a bit tatty. The accommodation could be improved by providing a dish brush, (not just a scourer), paper towel and a welcome pack with brochures, maps etc. outlining places to visit, places to eat etc. especially given that it is located on a resort. Some specific resort information would also be helpful eg. Golf, facilities etc. and a map prior to check in showing where your unit is - ours took some finding, especially in the dark. Finally a more detailed check of the safety of equipment and utensils by the cleaner/manager would also be useful - we had issues with some of the knives and the heater. These things aside, we would stay again and we look gorwatd to doing so.
