Staff at Oulton Hall are the stand out feature. From check in to Oliver in the restaurant to the waiting staff at breakfast, all are well above expectations. All Staff excellent, unexpected upgrade was a bonus, hotel itself very modern and all amenities catered for. However house keeping need to pay more attention to detail! hairs on bedding, room floors dirty/grimey, balcony glass needs algae removing and cigarette butts left on balcony (we don't smoke) ...

The property is in a great location, but is not kept in a great shape. Beds were super uncomfortable, you cold feel the mattress springs pooking you. The bathroom really need basic updates, a clean, mold free shower curtains would be enough
