「I received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage. However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside. The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky! We ate in the restaurant one evening which was very good. The peacocks were amusing,...

「Compact but lovely rustic property. Good location, regarding sight seeing, but could hear the noise of traffic when sitting in the garden. As it was really hot on our trip, a parasol in the garden would have been ideal. Also behind the cottage was another cottage's garden so for privacy needed to pull down the blinds. The host was very helpful and communicated a couple of issues before our arrival. Lovely welcome pack. Overall we had a lovely stay.」

「The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The weather was cold, windy and wet when we were there and it took a while to get the cottage warm and cosy. Close to Lanhydrock and Bodmin Moor, Tintagel and Padstow not far away, so a nice place to have as a base for mid Cornwall」

「We stayed for 11 days and loved the house. Wide angle camera lenses often create the illusion of bigger spaces, but this flat really was very spacious. The bedroom was big with a nice bed and plenty of storage (a bigger bed would be ideal). Separate toilet and shower rooms were nice. The kitchen was big and well fitted. The real bonus was the spacious lounge with two couches (although the TV definitely needs to be upgraded). The wood-burning stove was wonderful. The location is super convenient...

「The property was great. Unfortunately when we arrived the property had not been cleaned after the previous let. We advised the contact we had been given, and this was done straight away. She was very responsive, and had just returned from holiday, so was not sure what had happened. However this meant that we could not check in properly until 3 hours after we arrived. 」
