「Easy paddle to jumping “spinner” dolphins in front of the unit. Reef sharks and stingrays regularly swim by. Some noise from road, but hard to avoid this anywhere on the island, especially if waterfront. We really enjoyed our 9 day stay. Only the bedroom has AC. Would definitely stay here again!」

「We had a great stay! The host does a great job providing everything you need for a very unique experience staying near Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The surrounding area is dark with some rough roads, but it is worth it given this excellent stay. 」

「This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. 「Dawn has a lovely property within reasonable driving distance to Hilo, Volcano National Park, and beaches. If you read the description of the property and the reviews, you will not be surprised. Everything you need is there and you get a chance to interact with nature and fellow travelers. For a reasonably priced place to stay in the area, this property checks all the boxes. 」

「Wonderful stay in the jungle Fern forest, gravel road to the rental is in great shape, any vehicle would be fine. Exactly as described and pictured, nothing more or less, for the price it's 10/10; easy late arrival access with gate key code and cabin door code ; soothing coqui frogs all night after the neighborhood dogs settle in. somewhat thin walls with neighboring cabin, maybe bring earplugs」

「Christine is very communicative and this is a one of a kind property! The cats ate the best and the thoughtfulness of the design is top notch. We loved all of the ideas about where to go and what to do as well. We had to work a little to figure out how to cool down the rooms quickly but that was more us than the property :). You really felt like you got away from it all!」

「The place was beautiful and so clean! It was small, but seemed spacious enough and was nice and private. It also had everything you’d need to keep groceries and cook a meal since it’s a bit of a jaunt to “civilization.” Keith was friendly when you’d see him around, but not super responsive to messages. 」
