「Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult.」

「Very nice place to stay. The boat was very well equipped with everything we needed. All of us caught lots of carp that we had to kill first of course, then fed to a pelican which was fun. Fed the pair of black swans that came round each evening with cornflakes as internet said that was OK. to feed them that. Very quiet moored spot on the river. Highly recommend this boat for a holiday that is so relaxing. Host is lovely and supplies all the information you need for this wonderful getaway.」

「The communication with the property owner was fantastic....This is truely a hidden gem.....Nature, quietness, calmness galore!! A great place to relax and enjoy. The fire pit is sensational. The inside decor is a bit dated but still very comfy and a great hot shower!! Loved our second stay - We will be back!」

「The elevated cottage is right on the river with direct access to the water. You can sit on the deck, sipping gin & tonics, catch fish from the private jetty, watch water activity and the majestic sunsets, it’s superb. Recommend hiring a speed boat for multi-day stays if you have a family - Murray Bridge Speed Boat hire even delivers the boat direct to the private jetty!」

「Disappointing to find both bathrooms on top level, bbq not great for even heat when cooking breakfast for 8, stove top not all elements work, oven small to cook roast for 8, no steamer for steaming vegetables. Spiders in downstairs toilet and nowhere to wash hands after being to downstairs toilet, could not turn on wash basin tap (arthritis hands) so had to wash them in kitchen sink, not hygenic. A bit disappointing for what I read and saw to what it was. Would not book again though. We did have...
