Located within the 16th-century complex of Palazzo Guicciardi—a noble residence of a family present in the region since 773 AD and documented in its current form since 1548—Il Granaio (The Granary) is a characterful apartment that offers a peaceful haven even during the busiest holiday seasons.

The apartment serves as an ideal crossroads for exploring the best of the Central Alps and Northern Italy:
Skiing & Mountain Sports: Just 20 minutes from the ski resorts of Aprica, Valmalenco, and Teglio.
Iconic Destinations: Less than 1 hour from Engadine (Switzerland), Lake Como, and the thermal baths of Bormio.
Culture & Gastronomy: Within easy reach of numerous sites of cultural, culinary, and sporting interest in the heart of one of Valtellina's most charming villages.
The Space: Historical Charm and Modern Comfort
Il Granaio is a result of a thoughtful renovation of the Palazzo's ancient granary, blending original textures with contemporary living:
Living Area: A bright and airy living room with a fully equipped kitchen.
Sleeping Quarters: A spacious master bedroom where a crib for children up to three years old can be added upon request.
The Loggia: A dedicated lounge area overlooking the loggia, featuring a comfortable sofa bed (90x195 cm).
Amenities: A modern bathroom with a shower and washing machine. The unit is equipped with independent heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort.
Important Guest Information
Accessibility: The apartment is located on the second floor. Please note that, as a historic building, there is no elevator, and access is via traditional stone stairs.
Independent Entrance: The apartment is a self-contained unit connected to the main Palazzo by a "glorietta" (a historic bridge-loggia).
Combined Rental: For larger groups, Il Granaio can be rented at a special combined price together with the main wing of Palazzo Guicciardi.

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana in questo appartamento all'interno di un palazzo storico di grande fascino...esperienza che consiglio vivamente abbiamo trovato un appartamento pulito accogliente con un panorama da incanto.....ci e' dispiaciuto lasciarlo..............Daniela eFranco

Siamo stati benissimo in questa bella struttura d'epoca, la casa è fresca, piena di luce e si gode un bellissimo panorama da ogni finestra!
Adatto a chi ama la tranquillità e il ritorno ad una vita più semplice. Ponte in Valtellina è un bellissimo paese che si sviluppa tra vigneti e meleti dando un vero tocco bucolico al soggiorno.

Nous avons été agreablement surpris par le charme authentique de cette belle maison du XVI siècle située au centre du village medieval. La maison est très spacieuse ,agréable , excellement agencée , bien équipée et décorée avec gout . Marco est extraordinaire et à l' écoute des moindres besoins . Le village est idéalement situé pour découvrir la région (les lacs de Côme et Majeur, Sondrio, St. Mauritz, San Bernard, Bormio,Milan). Il est également trés pittoresque et les gens qui l'habitent chaleureux . Le calme , la situation geographique exceptionnelle, le paysage à couper le souffle et le climat doux font de la maison et du village un havre de paix à ne pas rater . À recommander sans hésiter!
We were pleasantly surprised by the authentic charm of this beautiful XVI century house located at the center of the medieval village. The house is very spacious, comfortable, excellently furnished, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Marco is amazing and listening to every need. The village is ideally located for exploring the region (Lake Como and Lake Maggiore, Sondrio, St. Mauritz, San Bernard, Bormio, Milan). It is also very picturesque and the people who inhabit warm. Calm, exceptional geographical location, the scenery breathtaking and the mild climate make the house and the village a haven of peace ,not to miss. Recommend it without hesitation!
