Great Hospitality for Staycation, but Keep Seasonal Amenities in Mind
We booked a weekend getaway to unplug, relax, and spend quality family time together. Overall, it served as a wonderful home away from home, and the host’s hospitality was top-tier from start to finish!What We Loved:Outstanding Host Hospitality: The host was incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. She generously allowed us to check in early at 3:15 PM, which gave us a head start on our weekend. Even better, after we checked out and realized we had left my daughter’s birthday cake behind, she immediately provided a lockbox key code so we could retrieve it. Her kindness and understanding meant the world to us.Proactive & Clear Communication: When a neighborhood internet outage occurred, she stayed in constant contact, sharing updates from the service provider and checking in on the neighborhood's status. Her efforts to keep us informed were much appreciated.Impeccable Cleanliness & Fun Extras: The home was exceptionally clean and well-kept. Having an ice machine was a great touch, along with complimentary water and snacks. We also really enjoyed and appreciated the selection of board games provided—it gave us a fun way to connect and pass the time together!Things to Keep in Mind:Seasonal Amenities: The beautiful pool was the main feature we were looking forward to, but because seasonal closure dates are set for early September, it was closed during our visit. That was on us for missing the fine print, but future guests should definitely double-check amenity availability dates when booking post-summer stays!TV & Internet Reliance: The home’s TVs rely on Fire Sticks, so when the neighborhood internet went down during the outage, television was temporarily unavailable.Overall, this is a spotless, comfortable home run by a genuinely caring host who goes above and beyond for her guests. We truly appreciated her warm hospitality!
